Can you get into the pits in Toronto with just a Monster can, or do you have to buy them? For some reason I believe they have always been closed pits?

I believe they are closed pits. It's the wrong time of the year to be standing outside haha. I go every year and the 'pits' are pretty much a ghost town. Everyone is inside staying warm. They do an autograph session inside at some point during the day though, keep your eye open for that.

I had the same question about NJ/NY. I noticed on the official site that it doesn't mention a Monster can like it does for other rounds. Does anyone know if the Monster can works in NJ/NY?

Historically the pits are closed at the Rogers Centre as they are underground beneath the stands and are narrow. The truck parking area outside the stadium (the lake side) is closed as well. In past years there has been a Monster event Friday before the race where attendees got to be at track level.

1 rider, 1 mechanic per pit pass unless you know a CMA official.

I know the monster can does not work in Indianapolis.

It usually isn't nice enough for the crews that aren't used to the temp up here (even though we're usually walking around in just a light jacket that time of year) so the outdoor pit isn't open, and as far as I know the one under the stadium isn't open either... There are ways in to the outdoor pit however...

I hope the autograph session time gets posted somehow, some way. My wife has her Wheaties box for Dungey to sign, and I'm hoping to get a picture with The Man, thus removing at least SOMETHING from my bucket list.

Only way to get pit access is with industry seating tickets. Otherwise, ain't happening.

Crap. I think I know what that means then. Thanks for letting me know.
