We just moved from about 20 minutes from Olathe about 4 months ago. Kingsville and Merwin are good but Merwin isn't open much anymore. GV is not much of a prep usually. The track at knobby hill is alright but the people running it are total Dbags. You don't have a lot of choices around for moto. I didn't go to KCMOTO before we left. It was just getting going and it was too expensive for practice for me.
thats because the owner is just a kid-dude. i say that because hes a younger guy that thinks hes tough with old people and then when they arent looking he will cold-cock them in the head...mind you this is a 50+ year old man who he knocked on the ground. hes had a couple tracks, more private though, as far as i know they are not around anymore. maybe thats why? not sure but he will NEVER earn my money, whether the track is National, BRO, or not.

Wow crusher, why don't you just shit on the owners of tracks that give me a place to ride on a public forum. Would you talk that much shit to their faces?

Lived in O.P. KS for 7 years in the 90's. Probably one of the worst places in the country to live if you love to moto. There is all this good land south and west of the metro of the KC Kansas side suburbs, but there just isn't much up there. Now living here in the DFW metro, it seems you can see MX,er's with bikes in trucks, on trailers or vans pretty much a couple times a week on the roads on my commute to and from work.
Seeing MXer's in the KC area hauling bikes is almost non existent. Only tracks I rode were in MO back then.
Jonon was the last guy to come out of that area. (Spring Hill I believe.)

Green acres in Marion Kansas. Awesome natural track that bends down by a river. Great mx owner family too. Tell Ronnie that Jeff Jackson sent you

I highly reccomend giving kcmoto a visit. It is 15 min from my house, they just added a arenacross\supercross track in addition to the mx track. Well worth the 25$ practice fee. Wish I could be back from college more often otherwise I would be there every weekend
