You gotta love that kid. Big smile and a lot of heart.

Hits a downed bike that takes him out of contention for the win and apologizes.

He raced hard and looked good. He's definitely a favorite to win the title if he can keep it on 2 wheels.

After the crash, he was down, what? 10+ seconds? He closed that gap to within 3.5 by the last lap. If he hadn't gone down, he would have easily gotten by Davalos and taken the win. Hopefully he can build on this momentum through the rest of the races.

Look at the lap times Davalos had backed it down. Malcolm did ride great.

Ah, ok, I was kind of wondering if that was the case. Thanks (I still think Mookie would have caught him, though!).

Actually, they've all been within the past 3 seasons. How many have you won in the past 10 years though? Wink

I don't know what race you watched but correct me if I'm wrong, Davalos was pulling away before the crash?

Malcolm was definitely fast and it sure didn't seem like he was even trying that hard.

Definitely he treats fans with respect we saw him ask a friend to take a pic of him with a fan at the Fan's request and he made his friend take two pictures just to be sure that they came away with a great pic.

Davalos was faster for the first five, Mookie was faster the last 10 excluding the crash lap. Crash was lap 8. Davalos' fastest was about a half second quicker, while theoretical fast laps from fastest segment times were Mookie: 46.689, Davalos: 47.016. I think we'll see them together quite a bit.
