Yep it already had a ton of stuff on it to start with. GYTR, hammerhead, braking rear rotor, Barnett basket, FMF pipe and silencer. I rode it 6-8 times this fall, had it revalved and resprung, then tore it down. Bikes in pretty damn good shape, just needed a good cleaning.

Anyone running a different offset of clamps on these newer YZ's. Thinking of going with Applied's 24mm (stock is 25), Can get for just under 300. Ride engineering is a little too pricey for me at almost double the cost.
I ran 22.5 clamps on my 09 yz and liked it better than stock. For me, the stock offset pushed in corners and the new offset clamps allowed me to carve better. Maybe just the way I ride but it was an improvement in my case.

Sick project!

Had MotoSeat make me one up. Close enough for me, not looking for an exact replica, just close enough. I could have gone all blue, but felt the white rib accents would give a nice touch. Cover is tacked on, my air stapler took a shit half way through.

Finally made it through the holidays and am going to hop back on the bike over the next couple of weeks. Motor should be back end of the week, full OE rebuild, with a little bit of port work.

Also picked up a set of applied 24mm offset clamps and had my fork tubes re ano'd

Also a little teaser:

Dang that's cheaper than I thought. I'll be doing that to my bike. Who did it?

Emig is the type of guy who still works out, he works extremely hard at speech therapy and is all around a great dude. He will sit and bench race with anyone.

Finally had some decent weather this weekend and was able to get a bit more work done on the bike. Got the forks back, wiring harness on, stem pressed into the clamps, new steering stem bearings and races, new footpeg mounts and hardware, tires mounted. Rebuilding all of the calipers and master cylinders this week and running some galfer lines to each.

Ran into a little issue with the motor, the head was trashed so I had to order another one and DH1 also had to correct some previous port work to the cases. Hoping to have it back next weekend.

I had to roll it out of the garage for an initial look.

Motor is done. Brandon at DH1 mods gave it the full treatment. Port, polish, and headwork. All OE, new crank, all new bearings, head. Engine almost like too good to put back in!

Its funny you said that, I won the rockymountainmc supercross experience for Atlanta 2 last year and got to eat dinner with him. When he came around and talked with me and my buddies he talked our heads off for almost two hours!! He talked about everything from EFI two strokes in the works(not kawasaki), what hurt his chances of beating Mcgrath, current racers confidence levels and how important it is, bikes that he hated and loved, and so on. I was in awe the whole time as I listened to him talk, it was pretty amazing just how much insight he had and shared with us. He sat and talked with us way more then the rest of the winners tooCool
