Regarding the bridge jump, I think it actually helps the trajectory of the bikes to use the ultra steep downside. That kicker seems to do pretty much what it was intended to do. Another truckload or so on the downside would be nice too.

It annoyed me: I slid back down it during track walk.

Doh!

How can you say it does not work when they have not built a short bridge TT without one? Without it, everyone is going to be jumping into the flat. Without it, they will have to make the top a LOT longer. IT is called physics and parabolic trajectories...

Would be cool to see it used like at St Louis 09, as a super tall table as part of a rhythm section... The tracks really are fast now compared to a 10 years back.

At the beginning of the season they didn't have one and the lip got all fucked up. It was a fix

I keep seeing 10 years this, 10 years that. You guys know that was '06 right? Everyone was already on a four-stroke. Maybe you meant 20 or 15 years ago?

You mean ten years ago when "most" guys were on 450s?
Or do you mean eleven years ago when the bleeping championship was won on a 250 two stroke?

I also meant the track. Looks to me that they are still built by the same crew, aren't they?

8686, in 06 all the top guys were on a 450. That was literally the year they switched, as you pointed out.

I'm confused. Where's the part where Crush brought up 2-strokes or 4-strokes? All I saw was where he suggested using the over/under like they did at St. Louis in '09. While it might have been built by the same crew, that particular track was designed by Pastrana.

haha I think people get too busy trying to read between the lines that they completely miss what was written on the lines. "Can't see the forest for the trees" type thing.

It thought it was really cool watching Dungey and Kroc fly over it half whipped trying to get the power down on the backside.

I know one thing though. Watching the KTM Jr. Kids barely make it up that thing in practice was pretty scary. A few of them almost flew off the side trying to jump up on top, and a couple jumped up to the top and then looped out at the top. One kids bike shot off the backside, luckily without him on it. Few kids almost got bucked off the back side by the rear end after they landed on top. If it weren't for the army of track workers lining that thing to catch them, there would have been some bad shit. I was so happy when that part was over. Did not want to see someone's little dude get pummeled. They did all do pretty good with it by the end of the night.

Yeah I thought for sure they would divert them around that jump for the race. But there wasn't really a very good option for that in that section.

Did you see that number 9 kid doing the step on in the rhythm section. That was pretty impressive. And his little dance at the end was pretty funny.

When he did that, I laughed my ass off. And of course, my son loved it while my dad was like "what was that?" That kid was pretty damn funny

Yes you are confused. Crush never brought up anything about two strokes and four strokes, someone else mentioned it. I'm just saying that 10 years ago was 2006 when the tracks weren't much different. Pretty simple, no need to get defensive about anything...

Reefer, actually I was watching supercross 20 years ago.I just don't remember.

By all means, please show me where someone else brought up 2-strokes or 4-strokes prior to your post. I'm not getting defensive, but some clarification on why "everyone was already on a four-stroke" is relevant to a discussion about the use and potential uses of the over/under would be nice.

Seems like that kicker works just fine. It seems like it wasn't all the way across some races?

Who cares. i don't feel like explaining anything more than I don't think the tracks have changed much in 10 years. Lighten up guys.
