Joel Robert..he would ride his bike until it ran out of gas, push it back to the pits..gas up and ride until dark..and he didn't care what he rode,he would still ride the wheels off of it..

Hello friends,
I've never been the kind of guy who had a hero.
The closest to a hero I ever had while growing up was Steve McQueen...but he was an actor with a troubled life so he is not my hero, he's just someone who was in movies and had the same passion I do....Dirt bikes!....

Still to this day, I never had a hero so it's time now.....to introduce my real life hero :

a 20 year old kid who inspires me everyday to be a better man! Ricky James.

Mom and Dad no question...My oldest brother that died in the Marines.
Then
Gunny Sgt Carlos Hathcock the best Marine Corps sniper that ever lived.. He is the true Sniper that shot a dude through his own scope from 200 meters.. We studied him in sniper school and I just never can forget the stuff I read in his book "One Shot One Kill" its mind boggling what he did with a rifle and his mind. Being that in an elite unit like that I know personally how hard it is and that guy was a RC in the sniper world..

eeerrrrr!

saying it is a normal thing is not stretching it, say your dad was a major crack dealer, you grow up to be a multi millionaire you can look back and say wow my dad was my hero for showing me what not to do with my life.

its all how you look at it.

My son who just became a police officer and all of the rest on my kids. They all inspire me, much as I tried to inspire them when they were growing up.

When having that kind of hero-definition, anything goes I guess! Smile

my mom who raised us by herself who was there no matter what, then my husband who inspires me everyday to be a better person then I would say my inlaws.....Lutie who was always there cheering Kevin on and making sure his bikes were running as they should be while james was driving a truck during the week. Then there is James who will be 83 Lord's willing in Feb who still comes out to the track and helps Kevin and will go to Loretta's and watch and even to the mini o's.
