I agree. I started riding on the ice pretty seriously about 7 or 8 years ago, after racing mx for 20 years, as an A rider, pro license etc.. It definitely takes some time to commit to throwing the bike sideways. You can ride into the corner normally, turn and get on the gas, but coming in pitched sideways, getting on the gas with your feet on the pegs is a totally different skill. The guys in Michigan are riding road courses on the ice, and its pretty unreal to have someone like Henry Wiles, pass you and leave you, in one corner when you think your going fast..lol

Looked like RV was starting to get the lean angle down better than MC. That whole no front brake thing would be weird to me too.

I think it's more that the track is small, almost like a big circle instead of an oval that makes them look slower, i'll cut em some slack either way, i'd look like a complete goon that first time, if i did it on a real flat track bike like that.

I talked to Bryan Smith about it. He said they were starting to get it. But, I don't think he was worried they were going to take his job. Lol. Put them on a half mile or mile with him and it gets a bit tougher for them.
