wimps. - 14 F right now, yesterdays low was -22F. It has been like that all week and I rode my bicycle to work everyday. Some days with wind chill it hit close to - 40 F, make you feel alive.

-40 F ? HA ! That's nothing, when WE were kids, we'd walk to the swimming pool

in temps close to minus- 65 F with wind chills near minus -89C. And, we walked on

our hands, ( we didn't have legs back then, couldn't afford them...) - without mittens.

We were real men back then, we may have been toddlers at less than 3 years old,

but we knew how to fight and the cold didn't faze us ONE bit.

Naturally , we drank a lot of whiskey and other anti-freeze back then,too- but dammit -

nobody cared. We were raised by a village. An igloo village full of idiots, but it was

a village.

Hey, I enjoyed the ride and cold. But, the jetting was too lean with the increase in air density. Prepare....take some extra main jets!!!

Went to work this morning in Sheboygan and it was -9 F and the winds were over 40 mph and add 8 inches of fresh snow from last night that was blowing everywhere. That's over 36 inches for the season.

It was zero when I fired my 2 stroke this week. Fired right up with full choke. Nothing like the smell of C-14 and 2 stroke in the morning.


It was a tad lean, so I richened it up 2 clicks on the controller and called it good.


Ran great. Burned 14 gallons of gas in a whole 81 miles.


She's thirsty. Likes to drink the brew. Screams like a banshee. Doesnt complain much if you dont push her button too hard or long.

That sure is a nice ride. I'm debating whether I really need to sell the RM. Think I'll hang on to it awhile, just to see if it still gets used when I get the AF home (THIS FRIDAY!!!!).


I'm thinking sometimes a man just can't have enough 2-strokes in his life.
