I've had my Phantom 3 a while now and have grabbed some interesting footage of the area around where I live.
Here are a few to check out if this is your thing.....

So what happens when you crash it into the ocean?
Ha...if it goes in the drink I cry and start saving my money again.
It would really have to be a catastrophic power failure or big time bonehead move by me to drop it in the water.

Had a little issue up here a while back with a drone operator getting a little too close to a whale pod. Not sure if they are lightening up on the issue or not.

Yeah that was fun to shoot but a little nerve wracking as it was about 4200 feet out by the time I stopped and panned out.
YouTube has some amazing music you can use for their vid's and that mellow stuff just suits the floating quality of the footage.
I live on an island on the Rhode Island coast so we have a lot of wildlife areas that I try to be careful around.plus my house is within a Federal No Fly due to military bases so I am careful to check my locations.
There are a lot of idiots unfortunately like everything else in life it will be the moron few that will make it tough on the rest of us.
How are yours going?
Yeah the Phantom has that "Follow Me" mode where it tracks whoever is holding the remote.
Only problem with that is the obstacles around you.
Interesting to see if the Hex has an improved self piloting system, biggest problem so far is horizontal obstacles in the flight path. The technology on these things is just unreal.
Make sure you post some vid when you use it!
