Yea, and I'm sure all your L.A. cops and departments are as clean as a whistle to right?

Cleveland isn't squeaky clean. Nor ashtabula county Ohio sheriff's department.....

I doubt the entire manitowic police is corrupt. But the 20+ year higher ranking veterans of the force are clearly. Crooked.

I just finished episode 6, and I'm still not sure where I stand. Lets say for a minute that Steve did it. Someone explain to me how a guy who is dumb enough to "hide" the victims car on his lot, on a ridge, basically in plain view, a guy who decided it would be a good idea to burn the victims remains in his own back yard, is the same guy who is smart enough to erase any shred of DNA evidence that places the victim on his premises (other than the burn pile).

She was allegedly raped, stabbed, and shot multiple times in the trailer and in the garage, yet there is no DNA evidence to back that up. Where's the bed and the mattress? As of episode 6, it hadn't even been tested for DNA. I don't know. For every damning piece of evidence against Steve, there's something that blows a hole in the evidence. I'd still like to hear an explanation as to why the evidence box had been tampered with. Moreover, why had the blood vial been tapped. Why was Teresa's blood in the back of her car? If all of this supposedly happened within a 100' radius of Steve's trailer, then why would there be the need to transport her body? According to the prosecution, he burned her remains that afternoon.

If someone told you that:
a. Steve was the last person to see her that day.
b. Teresa's car was found "hidden" on his property.
c. Her charred remains were found in his back yard.

then you'd think this was a slam-dunk case, however, there's been enough doubt raised about every one of those "facts" that I'm not sure who to believe any more.

Whats scares me is that the FBI fabricated a test and test results to support the prosecutions theory. I always thought the FBI kept the police in check and the two agencies didn't cooperate with each other. I guess I was wrong.

Or they were purposely given incorrect samples to test. If I recall, they weren't testing for dna, only that there was the additive in the samples they were given. (The additive that is in evidence blood)

Interesting but not surprising. I strongly believe that its only a matter of time before someone rolls over on someone else. This has taken on a life of its own at this point.

Law enforcement is a business. Not much different than Walmart. I think they are all scum sucking pigs. I have never seen a officer serve or protect. The Manitowoc, WI small time pigs thought they were not on the radar and could/can/still do anything they want. We can only hope the entire house of cards falls and the pigs go to prison regardless of where in the usa they are.

It sounds like it has gotten so bad locally that the Manitowoc police department has made it clear that they had no involvement in any of the cases and it was all the work of the sheriff's department.

Bwaahhahahha of course they did. Dumb asses must have never heard the phrase "the truth needs no defense". The very fact that they came out and said that incriminates them further.

"TIME sat down with Making a Murderer creators Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos to talk a variety of topics including that one juror (whose name Ricciardi and Moira declined to give), and why district attorney Ken Kratz should be “embarrassed” that he accused the filmmakers of bias in their depiction of Avery."

I think the cops are behind the whole thing .. The law suit is plenty of motive .. the one cop calling in the tag number is very suspicious ..and unexplained

I think there is a possibility that Avery did it. Remote, but possible. Then the sheriff's planted everything they could to make sure he went down for it.

It's obvious to anyone with a brain that Brendan Dassey had nothing to do with it.

If there's somebody on Earth I dislike more than Nancy Grace, I have not met them yet. Anyone accused by the state is guilty til proven innocent with that chick. She also has absolutely no shame in her decisions on which cases she wants to sensationalize.
Only time i ever seen her is when Forensic Files is over and i dont change the channel (thats one of my fav shows) so i dont know anything about her but i hear her annoying voice ranting about shit lol

This isn't the only story like this. There were plenty of people on death row that were shown to be innocent. Makes me wonder how many were actually executed that we'll never know about.

The underlying paradox in the death penalty (teaching people it's wrong to kill people by killing people,) combined with cases like this one are what made me switch my position on the death penalty.

On Fox News a special about this case on right now.

Yea. They had the sex crazed state prosecutor on. Man he's lookin rough. Never questioned his sexting scandal. That questions his character id say.

You still wonder. What if, maybe he did it. But I don't think he did.

Did you guys see Nancy Grace's piece on the Steven Avery case last week? Obviously she took the side of making him look like a complete piece of shit... What an awful lady; I can't stand her.
