Another RM 125 Build

Edited Date/Time 2/3/2016 12:02am
Hi guys! Since the winter here in Sweden stays for a while at this time of the year I thought that a 125 build could be fun. Got a bit injured at the end of the summer so i picked up a Rm.
Wanted to share the progress here, not in detail really but trying to show you something hopefully interesting!

Other than some beat up plastics, this is what I started with.

Some progress.

Started to polish and sodablast some parts.

Got the frame back from sandblasting.

And some fresh paint!

And so it begins!

Rmz fender and plate, new bars and graphics.

New spring and rebuilt shock, forks done as well.

Black rear fender and sideplates.
New chainguide, bearings and swingbolt for the new black swingarm.
That's it for now, going for some Haan wheels and motorwork next!

What year is it?

Based on the rear brake master cylinder I'm guessing either 2001, 2002, or 2003.

Started with some sandingpaper, then like a scrotchball or what to call it, and finishing off with a wet sandingpaper.

I love nothing more than an old 2 stroke build, especially a Suzuki!

Updatetime!

Ended up with some Swedish made hubs and SM Pro platinum rims, have heard a lot good about them, so will be interesting to test Smile

Got some Bridgestone rubber on tonight!

And how she sits right now.

Will update when the build is completed.
Happy 2smoking!
