I just got a new ktm 250sx... i don’t have a manual because weeellllll, it just doesn't exist. I only have a manual owners that i do not trust that much. Here is my dilemma... My manual says 0.8L oil capacity, then I took the old oil out and it came out close to 0.7L / 700cc. I went online for advise and there is lack of info to the transmission oil capacity for this bike. Then I found some comments that differ from 700cc to even 900cc. So I am not sure the amount to put on it. If anyone knows amount of oil capacity on a 2013 250sx, please help. Thanks.... Braaap
Did you just get the bike brand new?
It's alot easier for these two things to have happened before a manual misprint.. I'd hope
-whomever set the bike up at the factory/dealer filled it short with only that 0.7L.. things like that ie. way too much tire psi, too much/little brake fluid etc slide unfortunately.
Or
-being filled the first time, the oil soaked throughly coatig everything leaving a fine film? Accountable for 0.1L? Possible i suppose..
Just a few ideas, sorry I don't have an exact answer. Call the dealer in the morning and ask to be certain.
