250F Piston Brand.. TiN Coating

Hey guys,
I recently purchased a 2011 KX250F with 75 hours on it. Motor runs great, it was a nice clean 2 owner bike, but I don't know the history of the motor. So I'm going to assume it's never taken a new piston kit and just do one anyways. I have 3 options I'm considering... if anyone wants to suggest anything else feel free.

All kits include the same stuff including gaskets.
ProX kit: $130
OEM kit: $160
Wiseco kit with Ti Nitride coated rings: $180

Anyone have any experience with the TiN rings? Worth it for some extra theoretical life?

It helps and for the cost it's worth it. I'd make sure, at that point, that you also run a DLC coated wrist pin.

My understanding is that the TiN rings last longer, but will wear the cylinder plating slightly faster. Although I have no proof of this.

But what I do know is that when I rebuild my bikes next, they will get TiN Rings lol

It isn't worth the cost if you are putting it in a stock motor. This is a trick done mostly in mod motors along with many other mods to reduce friction.

I have always had really good luck with JE pistons.
