I thought it was great, not like most other movies. The bad guy wasn't out for money or revenge or anything, was just pure evil, and there wasn't a happy ending. It seemed real and put some stuff in perspective.

The Skyhook scene was inventive (surprised the Bond franchise never used that one)

The plot sucked ass
Skyhook...

Ledger's performance was the only thing worth a damn in that whole flick. Add to that it was about 3 hours long, and I was really hating it. Not a big fan of Batman anyway, except this...

C'mon, seriously. A guy who puts on a latex suit is supposed to intimidate me? The Batman character has all of the characteristics of a comedy.

Is there a reason you waited for the DVD to see this movie? You mentioned you were a big fan of this stuff so I am not sure why you didn't see it on the big screen.

I am not a fan of the series but loved the Dark Knight. So much when I learned it was on IMAX I took my daughters back to see it on IMAX after having first caught it on a regular movie screen.

IMAX is unreal and Ledger's performance was legendary. Only part I thought was lame was Chistian Bale's Batman voice.
