Steve's Pulp MX & other podcasts are the best but whatever happened to Holeshot Radio?

I found it on Stitcher but it stopped at the start of the Outdoors in 2015. Or at least that is the last episode archived.

I'm always looking more moto podcasts. I love Steve Matthes' Pulp MX, Fly Moto 60, pre/post race pods and race reviews as well as the fantasy show and have listened to his content for years but not really a fan of DMXS so always looking something else. Holeshot Radio with Pika, Davo and Doug Henry was pretty cool.

Any idea what happened to it or if it's still going? I know it went to Sound Cloud as RaceDay Nation but still same episodes where it abruptly ends at the start of the MX season, all the while they say they are growing and expanding in that very episode.

Well, their FB page is still current but not sure if they still do their podcasts. Message sent. No reply as of yet.

I think it's pretty hard to keep making fresh content with the pay being what it is, particularly for shows with fewer than the 32 sponsors that Pulp has. (Sorry, Steve [with a Canadian "sorry"])

That's why we're so lucky that Pulp and DMXS have stuck around for so damn long. Those gents deserve a tip of the cap to arranging their lives around making free content for us. Not everyone that starts podcasting sticks with it: I've lost many of my favorite non-moto podcasts. People are Over It at some point.

Just a guess but I believe it stopped when one of the co-hosts had a run in with the law.

One of the co-hosts wife died of cancer last february. He was with her for 26 years and came as a huge surprise after they thought she was cancer free for a few years. It was a very sad situation, but Dave O is a very strong man with a great family and he will be back. If you listen to the last couple episodes he comes on as a guest and you can hear how sad and heart broken he is.

Yeah, Dave O came back. Henry's run in with the law may have had something to do with it but honestly, on the archived shows, he really wasn't in it much. It was Pika and Dave O mainly. Weird how it just disappeared. FB still looks active but no response from them yet.

Thanks for the support everyone! Sorry for the hiatus but it's all for good reason. I have been working on a really cool project that I can fill you all in later about. It's something I have a feeling you'll like. Holeshot Radio will return soon, before the start of SX.
