Think this guy thought he was at USGP. Personally I am loving the cooler weather here

I didn't think anyone had frizzier hair than my youngest daughter. I was wrong.

I was walking behind three Estonian fans when the guy being carried passed out but his buddy caught him before he hit the ground. And it was only Friday

I

I am amazed with these huge structures. Would like to see how they prepare them for transport.

There is a guy back home who cruises around upcountry in a Ford F650. Like to see his face if I rolled up in this.

Talk about a crappy job

I owe everything to Phil Alderton regarding the people I know in the sport. Been friends with Johnny O'Mara since his comeback with HoT in 93 was cut short when he ran the tank dry then had a bad crash that injured one of his heels. I shared my turmeric experience with him today and will send him some when I get home. O'Show is NOT pumped this helmet company is using his name. They will be getting a phone call in the near future.

Post qualifying press conference. Good day to be French.

Those GP guys really "clean up right nice!"

These FreeRide bikes intrigue me

Being a non meat eater for over 39 years (I still eat fish although I don't know for how much longer given the condition of our waters) I am accustomed to being hungry at the races. It was really nice having a good meal. This food is available to the public in the paddock

Appreciate the kind words Jeff. One of my buddies from the early 70s came out for the USGP with his daughter who turned 20 on race day. Tim went to high school with Phil Alderton and his daughter is a huge MX fan. We were leaving and I went DOH I forgot to cruise by Dwayne's to meet you and the rest of the Vital crew. Really wanted to meet you in person. I am hoping to be at MEC but for sure will be at A1 and San Diego (racing REM before jamming south) then Hangtown GH and the USGP next year. Hope our paths cross at one of those events.

Didn't count them but there has to be at least ten flush toilets with equal number of shower stalls.

Barcia's big bore was a tad hard to start in the cold weather

But with a hand or two the beast came to life

As the previous pic illustrates the Alpinestar hospitality is right next store. One side is for Team USA while the other side is hospitality for media and friends of Alpinestars

This is Jeremey who is AStars main marketing guy. Like Dennis Stapleton from MXA he gets the passport with 20 extra pages to handle all of the entry and exit passport stamps

President of Alpinestars Gabriele Mazzalo (sp) and IMHO The most interesting guy in motorcross. He is constantly traveling he goes to the US to go to China to go to Italy in the cycle repeats. I believe he spends seven days possibly 10 days in each location. He also was a big supporter of Phil Alderton and gave Phil a job. The week before Phil's one year review Phil made the mistake of contacting his old girlfriend who had not seen in one year and went up to Beverly Hills. He and her went on a binge and feel promptly lost his job. It was unfortunate because Phil was about to be moved into sales or marketing and out of receiving.

Gabriele has a hard working team that keeps the Alpine stars hospitality area spotless. Thank you Alpinestars for all the hospitality and friendship

Sorry the captions got jacked up

I had tea and croissants in the Alpinestars suite then walked out into this sea of humanity outside of Team France. I dislike having my mobility limited so walked back up the hill to the Media Center to post these pics and to wait for things to warm up. I left my jacket at my GH hotel so am running with multiple layers to combat the AM cold

Thank you Scott! Feelings mutual. Glad you and your Kiwi crew as did Razi91 and his five Austrian buddies both got to experience The Kevorkian. It was a beater 78 Chevy van Bob Sullivan gave me after my beloved Flagship got totaled on the 405. I called the van by that name because if I'd ever want to take myself out all I would have to have done was drive to San Diego with the windows rolled up the exhaust manifold is leaking so bad that you had to have the windows down partially otherwise you would aphixiate yourself. LOL After 27 years driving Mercedes one might say it was more than a "little" bit of an adjustment. On the other hand the Kevorkian worked out well for both of the project bikes so I built. The Flagship got totaled halfway through the Stealth 450 oddly enough the day after I got back from Loretto Lynn's 2008 on my way to my chiropractor's. How bizarre is that? I look back at the time now and thank God that was then and this is now
