I found a decent deal on a 2007 crf450 brand new never ridden, but before I spend the money I would like to hear everyone else's opinions. Im 5'10 and 145. Im not worried that im too small for the bike I just don't want a bike that handles terrible. Opinions, problems, anything would be helpful. Thanks.

07 was a great year. I weigh in at a massive 155lbs and I think that the 07 had the best stock supsension to date and I have owned 08 and 09 crf450's. Only thing I would recomend is throwing on a pair of RG3 22mm offset tripple clamps to help the stearing a bit! Other than that I loved my 07

I hope to like mine after I get the Supercross bouncers off of it...It sucked-ass at the Vet Nationals.

Just sent the suspension to Dick's racing...We'll see come the Pro/Am

It's a great bike and the fact that its a 07 model means that it should be even a better bargain.

No disrespect to either you or Dick but I just have to ask. Who in the hell is Dicks Racing?

I hope this outfit has a really cool logo.

BTW: Is Dick taking the Viagra settings out of your suspenders?

It's at Glen Helen (of course) December 26th -28th
Friday 8am-1pm Practice on the MX track.

Saturday GP...about a five, or six mile loop.
Sunday MX...National track, two day combined score for prizes.

We give away a lot of Swag !

I finished third last year, via a 3rd & 2nd, on a 250F
This 07 450 is real fast, so I look to redeem myself this year.

Guaranty you will absolutely love it !
If you don't like it...I will buy you two new bikes, a Box van, and a Mechanic.
(sometimes I lie)

Dick Racing... I think they specialize in the euro bikes. KTM, Hucky etc.

If I was that light I would stay on a 250F for the fun factor

I've heard people say they thought it wasn't too fast, and I've ridden my friend's 07 KX450, the honda has way more bottom end to midrange, kinda falls flat up top but why not just shift? The Kawi was smoother and had lots of top end but was soft on bottom. The honda is plenty fast if you keep it out of the upper revs, but if you can't handle the power then rev it a little more.

It rips your arms off. If you want smooth, not the bike to get.

It is a great bike though, better than the 08 stock for stock. I would not advise putting the 22's on unless you like a front end that is skittish.

Dick's racing had three overall wins, at the Vet. Nationals.

One Honda 450
One KTM 450
One Yamaha 450

Dick Wilk, can do anything, and do it well.
