I thought I had lost this picture. This is at a Trans Am qualifier in Livermore, California 1976. I stepped out onto the track and held my camera up. Billy Grossi at the bottom of the hill gave me a nod. This was the result. It was during practice hence the green jersey. One of my all time favorites.

Ahhhh the old carnegie Trans Am track that was back in the park.....I remember as a kid amybe around 1990 or 91 the track wa still somewhat still there with hay bales. It had since disappeared over the years but there were some GNARLY hillclimbs to the side of it we used to do

Didn't he have a bad getoff a few years back in a vintage race? Wanna say it was at Sears Point but not sure.

Great pic there, Paulie.

Setting tile is not an easy job... Setting tile for 25 years is crazy hard on the body. Glad he is doing fine and say hello to him please.

Here he is at Hangtown. He got the holeshot and lead for a while. This was the first lap off a 6 foot drop-away. When he chopped the throttle shut you could've heard a pin drop. When he touched back down and grabbed a handful the crowd went crazy. Really bad shot. Kodak Instamatic I think.
