Pro circuit platinum 2 dented from factory?

Just received this pipe from rockymountainatv for my 15 tc250. Is this dent normal?

Pull of the stock and slip it on. And see if there is a reason he dent should be there.

Just heard back from rockymountainatv and they said it was there for clearance purposes.

I'm still gonna put it on and see if this is true.

Pipe is fine. Clearance dent and it should look like that.
