Who do you think will end up with second place. Barcia has three moto wins to Kenny's two, six 2nd place finishes to Kenny's five, but Kroc has seven 3rd place finishes to Justin's two. Kenny looks to have stepped up his game and with a win and a second place finish, to a 3-3 from Barcia, he'll nail down second in the points. If Justin goes 3-2, the points would be tied and Barcia would own the tie-braker, meaning KRoc would need a 1-1 to beat him.

If Tickle, coming off his best race of the season, can gain five points on Pourcel, that will put three Suzukis in the top five. However, Anderson is also trailing Tickle by only four points for the sixth position. Nowhere near as interesting as the battle in the 250 class, but there could be some intense competition in the final race for the 450s also.

While this may be true in many cases, I think Tickle would prefer to negotiate his next deal being able to leverage off a top 5 finish in the standings, as opposed to seventh. If you think this is a meaningless race for all of these guys, I think you're mistaken.

I hope Kenny comes out with a win in the first moto and ties up the points. It will be his last race for a while if he is having surgery on his back and it would be great to see him go out on a high note.

kenny needs 6 points over jb not a 1-1. however, kenny looks strong right now but as long as justin keeps it on 2 wheels i think he should have it. justin fought for it pretty hard all season and was really humble about his team etc. kroc was for my tast just way to winy all season long.

My post said that Kenny would need a 1-1 if Barcia went 3-2. Kenny could do it with a 2-2 if Barcia does no better than 4-4 or 3-5, which I'm assuming isn't likely. Obviously many things can happen but these were my thoughts as I was reviewing the points. A moto win for Kenny would go a long way towards helping him regain second, but like you say, it's Barcia's to lose unless KRoc dominates (a 1-1 would give it to Kenny no matter what).

I think it will be tough for anyone to go 1-1 against Dungey this weekend. Now that the title is his and the pressure is off, he just wants to win.

Maybe Dungey will get a "let Barcia by" board just to mess with Kenny. That would be awesome.

I think she's really trying to say Barcia, Barcia, Barcia

I'm a huge fan of both Barcia and Roczen and won't be disappointed regardless of what happens. Just want to see a close battle with some possible bar banging between these guys to wrap it up.

Both Kenny and Barcia will be trying to end the season with a win. But I don't think either of them will be too disappointed whether they are second or third in points. They wanted the title

pretty sure barcia wants it bad. he has a point to prove since he moved up to the 450. kenny got a national title already.
plus you want to be in roczens head and beat him straight up last race or not. worked for tomac pretty good.

Both Justin & Roczen deserve the spot. JB's amazing come-upance in the Outdoor Nationals this year...and his increased maturity & humility has been a very cool thing to see. Kenny has weathered a huge storm what with ankle injury & a back problem that he's having to miss MXoN to have surgery on...it's been a tough season, and I'm sure he's raced in a lot of pain.

Personally, I believe Barcia will take it simply because I believe Roczen will not take any undue chances that could lead to more harm being done than good. They are both fierce competitors though...so who knows.

Last year at Indiana, Dungey did not win a moto, he went 2-9 for third overall. Only Kenny and Trey had two solid moto finishes of 1-2 and 3-1, respectively. Barcia didn't race and Sipes was fourth overall with 10-3 scores.

I have no idea. But I would like to say Tickle has done very well. Thumbs up.
