PC 2016???

Edited Date/Time 8/6/2015 2:51pm
This may have been brought up already but I'm very interested to see what PC looks like in 2016. With outstanding performances from all the top Team Green amateurs, who gets the rides? We already know Forkner signed a 4 year deal so he's secured his spot but I'm not sure on everyone else's contracts.

Out of this list who stays and who goes?

Savatgy
Cianciarulo
Alldredge
Tonus
Bowers
Forkner
Harrison
Sanayei
Worth

Damn didn't hear that. So where do all these kids end up going? Harrison winning Loretta's in 250A and 3rd in Pro Sport on a 250. Sanayei getting two 2nd overalls and proving he can run up front.

That's the sad thing. Amateur kids "graduate" but no where to go as the established guys aren't leaving. Hopefully they find support as the support they did have goes to the next amateur instead of going to the pros that should be getting support (letting amateurs pay their own way, as they are amateurs after all...) Guess a couple of pros that didn't light the world on fire their first year or two will drop by the wayside and these kids move into their spots.

I don't know. I wouldn't take any of them over any of the riders they have though to be honest. Other than Alldredge possibly

I think Harrison will surprise some people, his fitness is top notch and he's got speed. Him over Alldredge any day.

Alldredge would be the only one I would replace of the current lot. But I think he's on a 2 year deal

I think you could replace Alldredge and Bowers to be honest. At the very least give one of the guys a chance in the outdoors cause you know Bowers isn't going to ever do much there anyways. He's a AX/SX guy only.

He will. Still don't understand why he didn't get the Horizon award, but oh well. He will be on a different color next year. Several teams are interested and I'm hoping he ends up on blue! I would guess Worth and Sanayei end up on different colored bikes as well.

Yeah I had him for the Horizon award too. I give it up to Benny but I think Mitchell deserved it as well. Hopefully he can land a deal with a solid team and spank all the PC guys.

Yeah I would agree with that. I think Bowers is worth keeping because I think he can win a SX title, but it's possible that one of the young guns could come in and be better than him outdoors

You guys are fucking harsh. Alldredge has serious potential. It is first year in the pros and he landed a podium his first or second try and has been consistently putting in top 10 results. His SX season was terrible but "We can work with speed". Also to say Bowers is a SX only guy is also laughable. The dude has had some great results outdoors and will make a killer 450 outdoor rider IMO. Believe it or not it takes some time to build the confidence that is crucial to get results. Hard to do that when you are only given a one year window to make it happen. That is one thing I think Geico does well. They give their guys a few years to make it happen. It has paid off for them with Hahn, Bogle, etc. They were going to give Osborne another year but he decided to go to Husky for a 2 year guaranteed ride.

No one is being harsh...??? Is it not okay for us to think one rider is better than another?

The "we can work with speed" has been thrown out there millions of times in the case of Zach Bell. Not going that well. I wouldn't be surprised to see Alldredge going the same route as Bell.

Bowers is not going to do anything outdoors. There is no historical basis for your comment. I don't think he even likes the outdoors. He is an AX/SX guy and has been for a long time. I'm not saying he can't be a good outdoor rider. I do think though you have to want to race outdoors and that's not something he really has an interest in doing. So...

I don't think Bowers can win a SX championship either. He's a great story and I loved seeing him come from AX and do really well in SX. I just think he might ride way to defensively and not enough using his head. He seems to get frustrated easily and then decides to bully his way with other riders. I think that can only work to an extent. And I do enjoy his aggressive style. It just seems that over the long haul in a SX series it takes more then that. His fitness was not where it needed to be last year and that caused him to ride even more defensive.

I would keep Alldredge for another year. Not really fair to kick him out after a single season. I sorta forgot that this was really his first full-time year.

Savatgy
Cianciarulo
Alldredge
Tonus
Forkner

That's a solid 5. If they have enough money they should take the chance on a 6th unknown. Another rookie from Loretta's perhaps or someone from the other side of the pond.

I'd be very surprised. Alldredge has the goods. Wait and see.

WRONG! Hes actually only raced 2 full seasons outdoors. One year on a 250 in 2008 and one year on a 450 in 2009. His best overall result being an 8th at RedBud. I would say that classifies him as a good outdoor rider. And where are you getting this idea that he doesn't want to race outdoors? You do realize that his results this year were in spite of riding with a severely injured back right?

I think Alldredge is a great rider, but if I had to get rid of one guy in the PC team to make room for a young gun, I think maybe I would choose him, that's all I'm saying. Thats only if I had to, if I had a choice I'd keep the same team, like Mitch is doing

Alldredge has more skill than his results have shown. I think he has a ton of upside. Hopefully we will get to see him reach his true potential in the near future!

So he hasn't raced outdoors in 6 years but he is a force to reckoned with outdoors and totally wants to race outdoors. Okay...Whistling

2009 was the year Tommy Hahn won an overall in 450s right? Not taking anything from Bowers, just noticing that 2009 wasn't exactly a hotbed in the 450s. I really don't think you need to get too worked up about this conversation, though. No one is MF'ing Bowers, just simply talking about options for riders.

Not heated at all. I am just saying that he has the ability to be a great outdoor rider. I guess time will tell as I expect him to be on a PC 450 outdoors in 16. You stating that he doesn't want to race outdoors comes from where? Did Tyler tell you that? I think he would surprise you results wise if all the pieces are there.

I was more or less basing it off the fact he hasn't raced outdoors in half a decade or more. It's almost like if I told you how much I love to fish and that I'm a great fisherman and I would do super good in the Bass pro tourney and you asked when the last time I fished was and I said 6 years ago. I'm not so sure you would have much confidence in me.

His fitness was never an issue at AX because of the super short races. And has been an issue in SX with the 15 lap mains. I am going to go out on a limb and say it would be a big factor in MX with two 30 minute + 2 lap motos each weekend.

I think he could be a great outdoor rider if he wanted to be one. There is just nothing in the last 5 years that says he has an interest in MX. He is a AX/SX rider.

Maybe this will be the year he rides MX again...
