Looking good. Don't make it too nice to ride though!

We keep telling MXM he needs to become a bike broker! lol Awesome find, can't wait to hear you whipping up on 250Fs on this bad piece of moto history .. Hopefully soon! Post a video when you do!

I've lived in enough other places to know Texas is my home, but if I won the lottery, I would be buying bikes off the Denver CL practically every week and shipping them back to Houston. Hell I'd be the Denver CL dirt bike stalker. MXM -- what you got going on up there in Colorado is like the vintage bike Aladdin's cave or Tut's tomb!

PS. Did anyone notice it's still got the warning sticker on the rear fender? Too much MXM. What did you pay, like $900?

Wow. Just wow. To find such a clean original and to go through it with so much attention. Wow.

Nice job MXM.

MXM Ive always used a couple thin pieces of alum 1" wide shaped like a J to protect the rims. A piece of plastic could also work in a pinch.

If the price and bike are right, it could be worth shipping it... Heck, maybe you could find someone trekking across the country for Loretta's and they could drop it off?

Not that you actually need another project right now. Wink

Amazing stuf, MXM! Sorry you were sick, I also had to miss 2 weeks of work and it was no fun. The bike is really shaping up, it's amazing that this one will be the "rider". It's not easy to find 3 year old bikes in this condition, much less almost 30!

Those blue backgrounds are badass! Back in 1985 my dad and I picked up a new cr80 at the dealer, and when i got it home I found some blue contact paper and cut some new backgrounds so that i could look like David Baileys grand national championship rc250 with the blue panels Smile Im sure they made me just as fast as DB as well lol.
