I want to put modern fork to my old steel frame bike. I found this fork on ebay, but i do not know- is this KYB SSS fork? May be this is old twin chamber fork?

Here is what the SSS forks look like. Forks caps have brown around the edges and the bottom of forks has a two step pattern. Instead of a single bell pattern like the 05 forks.

I run the '09 450 goods on my '03 YZ250, much better. Tubes slide right in to the clamps, I used an aftermarket top clamp for big bar mounts. I did have to figure out the correct spacer/axle combo though. The earlier clamps have a narrower C to C than the newer big bike clamps. I have an extra set of red APPLIED clamps, what year is your steely?

Front end came as a package, forks clamps and handlebars. Found All Balls has a fork conversion list used that got the bearings worked out the shimming, came out pretty good but need to do some testing to be sure
