I can remember watching rv before he was rv ripping around on a kx 60 clearing all the jumps with ease at what is considered then his home track port Angeles WA (opmc). He would kill it also in the local arena cross series.

When he jumped on the 80s he first rode a yz 80 for a year that's right he didn't always ride green. Went to Loretta's and got like 3rd overall that's when kawie started giving him support.

Didn't see him locally for awhile then like late in summer 04 came out for a big local race at the old mxgp track in Monroe wa. There was some fast local pro's in the 125 mostly 250f class. They were so afraid he was gonna wax them. They had him start back wards on the gate on his kx 100. Within like one lap had passed everyone for the lead.

Went on to socal for racing had a steel frame kx250f for awhile before getting picked up by pro circuit you guys know the rest. Yes I meet rv when he was on 80s he was always quite at the track usually.
