It seems every year Desalle is leaving Suzuki but stays maybe he need to let the negotiations be done by a manager and not himself.
The thing with Kawasaki is, they're having the worst season in years, luckily wildcard rider Aranda was riding in Germany last weekend, or the green machine wouldn't have scored a single point in the manufacturers championship (wich is still considered as or even more important as a individual title for the Japanese manufacturers). That's why I guess the option of Tixier seems a good one to me, consistent and smooth rider. Even Simpson has been named to ride for Kawasaki, so there are so many options.
When Desalle decides, everything will start moving, and deals will be made fast.

Herlings to MXGP, but he will stay under the tent of the MX2 factory team, so not a teammate of Cairoli (in theory)
Tonkov will take Herlings' place in MX2
Pootjes to a satellite MX2 KTM-team
now serious
Sorry if I step on somebody's toes, Kawasaki is too much influenced by the French with CLS & KRT
The road to a professional MX career takes a lot of time, money and energy before they are ready for MXGP
If you sign French kids you know there is always a risk they make the switch to Supercross read America
are we schooling kids for the AMA or MXGP?
You can't spend your Euros more than once therefore more support to Dixon Racing & Team HNHF
We lost some talented kids recently Tonus and Ferrandis let's hope Tixier and Febvre stay,
experience learn us 450 riders usually stay in Europe (250 riders appear to be less expensive)
that being said, a better mix from south and north is desired, agree to disagree
Pit Row
I will give RV credit for generating more interest (from USA fans at least)- who would not have followed so closely prior to him trying out the MXGP series.
It didn't go as hoped for him and his team, but it did (at least in my eyes) gain a lot of credibility and respect for the talent and excitement of the MXGP series. I now look forward to watching each race, both classes, and enjoy the racing.
The future is actually looking better (from a fans perspective) than ever for MXGP, up until this year all it seems everyone ever talked about was how Luongo was destroying the series. I am hooked.
Anything on Anstie?
