Ryans little brother blake posted on instagram a few days ago that he'll be racing 450 outdoors for 2015. What do u guys think? How'd he look like in the ams? I read an interview awhile ago where ryan basically said "my brother looks better than i did", that had to be in 07 or something tho. I dont really see him lighting it up at all, just throwin himself into the big bikes with no pretense, but i'd still like to see him not bring any shame to the dungey name.

Does anyone know what tyler villos plans are for 2015? I'd get a laugh if they ended up battling for a points position if he ends up ever racing the nationals

You're funny.
Not bring any shame to the Dungey name.. How would that happen? Would you gauge his results on the shame meter?
BTW, he rode Am practice day at Millville, and didn't ride in a shameful manner at all.

I know it was just a choice of words and I understand what you meant by it, but I seriously doubt there will ever be any shame brought to the Dungey name. The kid could come out and stink the joint up with his results but at the end of the day the Dungey family will still be solid, respectful, hard working people. No shame.

No shit. Since when does a mx finish have anything to do with shaming your family. The Dungey's seem to has done a great job raising the kids. They seem tight and happy. Mx finishes have nothing to do with that. Moran!

Blake tried to make a run at racing a few years ago, but had to stop because of a surgery. He had some sort of problem where his sternum/rib cage was growing inwards and affecting his breathing if I remember right. So they had to go in and break it, then insert a cage to support it and help it grow properly. He had it removed fairly recently, so he must be good to race again.

I rode with a few times a couple winters ago when he was out on this coast. He was very natural on the bike and had a great style.

He won an amateur national championship at one of the Texas nationals if I'm not mistaken, it was the only race I recall him doing and I think he left with a #1 plate in 250 B. Definitely no slouch.

Even qualifying for a national is respectful in my book. Unless he gets hammered after press day and puts the target moto van in a ditch the name will be fine. Hope he does well.

it was a figure of speech... i dont see him actually shaming his family with any bad moto finishes. blake, j mart, and ryan seem to be pretty close, so he's definitely with the right people. I just think its gonna be tough for him to have the confidence comin into a stacked class with no idea where youre gonna wind up.

It sounds like he must have shamed his family name.

I think he decided to get married and focus on his design company. No shame in that.

Long story short I sustained a hand injury right after Christmas break that derailed my preparations for outdoors. After discussing things over with my family we all agreed that racing outdoors unprepared is not a good idea. Since then I’ve moved back to Minnesota where I landed a great job at a private equity firm. I couldn’t be any happier.

Hey thanks for the update! I was wondering about you the last few rounds and was surprised there was no mention. Sorry to hear about the injury, but happy to hear life is good.
