Last year the asterisk mobile medical center was rumored to be having money problems and DC/MxSports waited until the first round to give a check to the medical crew. Was there ever a plan to go without the asterisk mobile medical crew, and simply use local EMT's?

A rider for MCR, I believe it was Scott Champion, was fired by MCR but nobody would ever admit what happened? Was it marijuana like we were led to guess or...?

Did Tony Alessi really take factory suspension to a local shop to be broken down and if true how mad was Suzuki about it? Did this lead to Suzuki taking away practice bikes from Team Alessi?

1. Has there ever been a discussion of a production rule for tire compounds that all riders must use on race day and if it was discussed what was the reasoning not to invoke this rule?

Thus the secret here is that the AMA and a manufacturer put riders safety at risk when they made the rule and continue to do so by not removing the rule.

AMA works for the riders and no riders wanted heavier bikes weight limits. So that is a dirty little secret! That rule was made to prevent two stroke bikes from becoming lighter and thus still as faster or faster than the new four strokes.
Guy, can I take a stab at this...as a guy that contributes a bit to the lightest bikes out there...?

Not really a shrouded in secrecy" question, but what would the chances of someone getting a Photographer pass at Budd's Creek this year? I read through the media info on MXSports and it doesn't look good for me....lol Unless DC wants to "hook a brother up?" I already scheduled off from work and it looks like I'll have to fly solo if I want to go. Figure it would be awesome to get a press pass to be able to get on the track to take pics instead of behind the fence like everyone else.

I even picked up new gear! Tongue I figure a few hundred of these will get me through the day.

I've seen people shooting with those...no lie. (Though not recently.)

If you've got a legit news source that you're supplying photos for? Give it a shot. Otherwise, enjoy the view from the spectator side, where the beer flows freely, you can watch for fun, and you don't have to worry about dodging bikes. (Like I did last weekend on press day with Chris Alldredge.) Smile
