It only takes a very small movement of the TPS plug to richen or lean it so I wouldn't do it without a volt meter.

We went all the up to .70 and it was too rich and after playing with it for a while we settled on .62, its actually .625 if you want the exact final setting.

Yeah I think it may be a little rich for the fuel I'm running the exhaust is making these little lime air puffs that come out every couple seconds. It runs awesome though.

It was doing that when we were at 7.0 with mine but I already had the screen cut out and the straight Renegade MX4 race fuel in it and he said because it's because it was too rich now so we started backing it off until we ended up at .62 and it started just by tapping the start button and revved without any hesitation whatsoever. It barks if you just crack the throttle now.

OK thanks yeah I'm running game straight t4 and I ended up at 5.9 and now it's perfect I mean perfect!! I'm so pumped! Ours varied a bit most likely because of the differnt fuels. It makes it so crisp before when you cracked the throttle it would throttle down a bit before it caught back up with the revs now when you crack it it goes right back to a perfect steady idle.

Stoked to see the air forks! I was also stoked to see my skid plate from P3 show up! It's made really well, very impressed! I'll take some real photos tomorrow at the track. A full review for VitalMX soon...

My first impression is that the front mounting hardware is not wrapped around the downtubes, so this should give the frame the same ability to flex where it wants... Also, I don't think the frame even flexes laterally much in that area because the motor mounts.

OK so mxa had a list of the 2016 ktms and they do not have air forks! Black frames and the 4cs. I'm glad I didnt wait for the 16 and got the fe. I really don't know why that photo from Europe had air forks on it maybe just the Euro model? They are claiming 62 horsepower on the bike but it seems like everything's the same.

EU model has the airfork. The bikes are going to be tested today in Maggiora by various magazines, i really hope that the air fork is decent because if it is i will buy the 16 450 before Christmas!

Anyone have problems with their battery? I left mine on the charger like usual all day saturday and unplugged it saturday night to load up. The charger indicated the battery was fully charged. Went out sunday am for practice bike started up. While on the line for practice it died a few times but fired right back up. Went out for first moto no issues fired right up and stayed running. Went to go out for second moto the thing was dead as a door nail. Wouldnt even turn over. I could get the bike to bump start and run though. So I got it home and plugged in the charger and the battery would not charge. I even went as far as to disconnect the battery to see if it would charge and it still would not take a charge....any ideas?

Sorry to hear.

And somehow e-Start is better than a kick-starter.

You don't need to constantly charge the battery or leave it on a tender it actually hurts the li Poe battery. Since I stopped doing that and letting it warm up properly when it's cold I've had zero issues

I heard that there was problems with the battery when you first get the bike, the battery needed to be on the charger for 24 hours. Do you happen to know if that was done?

It's weird that it started fine, then died, almost like it wasn't getting a charge from the bike.

How many hour do you have on it?

for $15k, some just have inflated expectations I suppose. And how would you know my experiences with eStart? Answer: You don't because you formed an opinion with ZERO knowledge. Congratulations, you fail.

BTW: A good 90% of the ppl with the new FE have had challenges with their eStart as an FYI.

Here's a few photos of the P3 Carbon skid plate on the bike. 1st impression is that it fits super well, easy to install, very rugged and hasn't moved at all during the ride...

You shouldn't need to charge a lithium battery plus you need either a specific lithium charger or the cheapest low power charger available, i have the cheap charger . My guess is you've cooked it. From experience If you fully drain a lithium to the point of it not cranking it , that battery is finished! You need to hit the button to prime the engine and warm battery wait 10secs and it should fire up. Wait 10secs before each starting attempt. Hope this helps.

Damn. Glad mine was 5k cheaper than that and I'm in the 10% with no eStart problems. Did you do a survey or just pull those numbers out of your ass to feed your ktm hate?

Nah, just reading all the reviews on the internet. When I had an eStart, all I had was problems, but I'm not generalizing, just my experience. A kickstarter is fine for me....Don't take everything so literately and you'll be a less bitter person as a result. I promise.
