Yeah shoulders are better but you can ride stock as fast.

Picked up my '15 on Wednesday. It's a great solid bike. It is only my second Kawasaki I've ever owned. I've been a Honda/Yamaha guy since the mid 80's . I was hesitant when buying the '13 KX250f. I am pleased to report that after 2 years I've had no problems(even the clutch has been solid) regarding reliability. I am expecting the same with the '15. I think it really comes down to rider preference and dealer relationship. I've ridden most of the new bikes and I honestly liked all of them. For me the Kawi was a very good powerful bike and works good for heavier guys (I'm 200lbs) I bought the '13 for $5,700 OTD and picked this one up for $5,500 OTD. That's really what swayed me at over a grand cheaper I could spend that on parts and racing/practicing. This '15 feels more powerful than the '13 although it might just be that it's fresh.

They're pretty good. The other day the track got really choppy into the corners and they felt a tad harsh so I just played with the clickers and they are working perfectly. I think I'm one in rebound dampening on the front. Stock on everything else. AS MXA says it's a working mans race bike. It does everything well. The motor freaking pulls Smile I blew by my buddy in this long whoop section on his '15 CRF250 . When we pulled into the pits he asked if I bought a 450 lol....

See that sticker on the front of the bike? Look those guys up, they are advertising them for $5999 OTD on the website(no tax in Oregon) he gives me a little extra love for sending people his way.

Did this place give you a pretty good price? I have not visited Yamaha of Harrison but I'm in the market for a '15 YZ250F. I am partial to Barton's in Jonesboro just due to being a lifelong customer there (back when it was JT) but you you seem impressed with your dealer so I'm interested in your input.

Yes i use mototape and it works pretty well without substantial wear on my boots. I mainly rock it to help keep my frame clean

2015 KX250F for me.

After selling my 2012 KX250F, I decided to give KTMs a try in 2013 (150 SX and 350 SX-F). I missed the Kawi, so I went back to a 2014 KX250F and now I have a 2015.

It has a solid engine, good handling and reasonable suspension. The weak spot used to be the front brake, but the oversized rotor took care of that in 2015.

I also like the YZ250F. It has a fun engine, and good suspension, but feels too wide at the radiator shrouds for me.

just catching up on these threads and noticed your comment. I think you quoted the wrong person. I feel that I got a very fair price. I traded my 09 yz250f in with the deal. Normally, I would rather sale a bike on the open market, but I felt the trade-in was the way to go on this deal. I've grown up with the Bieschke family that owns the shop and I can't say enough good things about how they run their business. Call up there and ask for Adam or Eli 870-741-3131.

Good deal! I bought my '14 450 kawi brand new and it looked worse for wear in 1 ride! It don't take long to see frame rub by the pegs... I like the 450 on the trails but think I might get on better with a matching 250f for the track.

update - I've found some KILLER deals in the bay area as low as $5,400 for a 15 kxf250, looking to see what else there is on the yzf's but thats pretty good!
