Full time reader of the forum but now I require a little help. I know a lot of you guys here own RM250's.
Coming off an RMZ250 I want to make the change to a 2 stroke. I have the opportunity to buy an RM250 from '06 for about 2240 US.
Would you guys say that is a reasonable price for that age? The bike is in good shape and looks fairly well maintained. No extras on the bike just stock.
Thanks.

Question though, I can't seem to find where I can order the graphics on the bike below. Anybody could help me find them? Tnx.
Smaller notes make for a much larger "wad" of cash
But it had just had a suspension rebuild, top end rebuild and gear changed. And it looks in really good shape.
I guess that threw me off a little since the US is one of the only countries that DOESNT get the bike thats still or was still being made....
So dumb on Suzuki's behalf, just look at the Yamaha YZ's...they sell all they make every single year,
(well just about, some sales expert on here will come on and tell me they had 23 leftover from a complete lot of 5000 that were shipped to the US ...LOL)
it doesnt make sense that suzuki and kawasaki dont follow Yamaha's lead on this and sell their two strokes here. I understand but disagree with Honda's stance on 2 strokes but the rest of the japanese companies are missing out on some great revenue that would be close to pure profit, and they could keep them cheap and market them as a cheaper entry level bike or not I really dont care but since they have already recouped their payback on the r&d it makes no sense to let their market share dwindle and succomb to KTM, Husky, TM and Yamaha.....For branding purposes, ot selling the 2 strokes does have an effect on their thumper sales, not directly its more indirect
And yeah, the clutches are total garbage. Suzuki has a serious problem building a clutch for anything I've yet to see (street or dirt). A billet inner clutch hub is a must. I would do the basket next, but the inner hubs trash out quickly and there is no filing trick to fix those.
