Sinjin said it when he called into pulp and I totally agree This dude is so weird. Sorry if he is young or somethujg really is wrong with the guy but if not then he is weird as hell. He calls in and asked riders if he can ride with them or if they would come to his track and ride with him and so on. Matthes seems to not think much of it but it's so odd.
Lighten up.
Gibbs needs to block that dudes number, literally pains me to listen to.
Usually Matthes is quick on the trigger to block these guys or hang up the phone, but for some reason he acts like he doesn't remember him and lets him stay on the line asking pros for handouts.
That being said I love that show, keeps me occupied to and from work till Thursday.
He's a local Georgia rider. I have an idea of who he is from his voice, but I'm not positive I'm correct. I have been living in Florida for the past few years. I'm pretty sure he's a Durhamtown regular. If I'm right i'd peg him at 15 or 16. Maybe old enough to know better, but some kids kids aren't raised not to ask for things. Who knows?
I agree though, I could do without the handout stuff.

im sure he is just some awkward teen ager that loves mx. seriously though quit airing this cat as he makes my skin crawl.
matthes probably thinks the awkwardness is funny
He was the guy who gave us his best first turn announcing. First thing he said was "And Stewart gets the holeshot...." Maybe he can contact that Quad Announcer who used to call in.
We always make a call out in the chat room when he comes on. It's funny
Lots of hate.
A lot of us learned at such a young age, but todays kids dont have parents like alot of ours did and these kids are on their own following a passion.
For example, I could do a top end on a 50 when I was 6 by myself. I knew how to check and gap points and spark plugs when I was 5 and mix gas and oil at the right ratios. Been helping my dad do it since I was old enough to tell a 9/16 wrench from a 14 MM. Hell, I even knew how to change jets in a carburetor and what lean and rich was. Cleaning and oiling filters, changing Trans and Fork oils. Everything. Including flat tires. (Id pinched a lot of tubes learning.
Id helped do all this 100 times.
Todays parents arent hands on like back in the day. We had it good. At least to me we did. Getting busted knuckles and greasy hands was "FUN"
I guess we had to learn. We couldnt afford to "just take it to the shop"
