...Nah should be cracker race, think dessale will get overall...
Pit Row
A race weekend is like a weekend off for him (for any of those guys)...look at their daily training routines...,two motos, hit the gym, bike ride...who knows what else.
Good grief...all this conserve energy talk is nonsense. Any of them can sprint for 30 minutes and have plenty left over for the next day.
If the GP regulars do "cruise" for the qualy Moto (and I'm not convinced that they do), I'd say it's more so they don't get hurt than to conserve energy.
I don't understand how people can think Villopoto spent too much energy. Look at the last GP. He went for it in the qualifier and first moto. He won big, more than he needed to. That had an effect on him in the second moto. This was also an extremely hot race, the riders weren't acclimated to it, and Villopoto is still racing himself back into shape. Villopoto went 1-3 and won the overall. The energy he spent today won't matter tomorrow.
I don't think any rider really went for it today. There's no reason to. Maybe a lap or two, but not the entire race.
This could be the beginning of Cairoli and Villopoto distancing themselves from the pack. I think that time is coming at some point, and maybe this race was where it starts.
Unless you think the riders cruise moto 1 to have something left in the tank for moto 2...which nobody does (unless they are cruising out front).
RV had a great ride, shame Desalle went down early,he could well have taken this one, hopefully theyll all give us a treat tomorrow Some mentioned RV might not be on top form but im pretty sure we haven't seen the best of AC so far this season
This means: no local races, no competition, no sponsors, no nothing.
So, local racers prefer to stay healthy for the National Championship or other country's championships (lots of Argentina riders competing in Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay)
I know a couple of riders that are taking a chance in this race and they are racing stock bikes. No chance...
and the article about him from RX is HERE he brought me back some cool HRC stuff. I loved the factory lawn chairs LOL
