I imagine you see immaturity in a little "who's the best" chit chat, but whatever. It's entertaining to me. And thank you, sir, for proving my point. If I appear stupid to you, I'm alright with that. It's how I perceive you as well. At least we agree on that.

Relax dude.
You are the one trying to make a point that the US series is better then the GP's and the best riders are in the AMA.
I don't know why because for a true MX fan it is irrelevant. They are both great but different.

We will already have a little bit of a comparsion between the MX2 world championship and the outdoors lites with Tonus riding in the US. AT200 was one if not the fastest rider (after Herlings) last year as he was second most of the time. He was even capable of following JH84 the whole race. So we'll see, but I don't forget that it'll be Tonus first year and he'll have a lot to learn.

Looking forward to seeing how Arnaud does in the Nationals. I just hope he can shake this illness that has ruined his SX season

In all actuality my post earlier was based more upon moto conversation at work (getting paid to bench race, unbeknownst to the boss), and was not intended to offend, but clearly it did. The subject of riders like Vuilliman and Roczen etc that stated they wanted to come race in the US because that's where the best in the world race is where it came from. Have you seen the movie The Big Lebowski? To quote that film: "I'm calmer than you are dude." Didn't mean to ruffle your feathers. You seem like a perfectly cool guy. Let's leave the "stupid" out of it from now on.

I don't think Herlings really wants to come here. He is on top of the world in GPs, and if he came here and got his ass handed to him, his status would be tarnished. I hope 'Poto slams the 450 field race after race and puts the stamp on motocross that the U.S. truly is the only place you can prove you're the best in the world. The question of their best (Cairoli) and ours head to head for a season is about to be answered.
I don't think I speak for only myself when I say that this right here is why parts of me would enjoy if RV2 failed. I know this doesn't go for all the americans, but some actually have this kind of arrogance against the GPs.

Otherwise I have always been a big RV fan(and AC too). The ultimate situation would probably be AC going in with a 5 points lead to Glen Helen so he'll have to win one and RV would have to go for both wins Cool

Cooper would be eating dirt behind Herlings, Martin and Musquin.

I understand, Glory. And like I said above, that derived from a conversation I was having about so many top European riders stating they came to the US because this is where the best in the world are. It was also meant to just stir the pot a little. Clearly it did. But as long as top riders from the GPs publicly state that they come here to race against the best, it's kind of hard to call it American arrogance isn't it?

When I originally posted this, Webb was rocking the 250W, but even more he was like an old stick of dynamite that has been left out in the humidity to sweat and could explode at any time. He appeared short tempered and was more than willing to "take it" to someone on and off the track.

Herlings, much the same thing, on and off the track he is a stick of dynamite ready to go and you almost HAVE to watch him to see what happens next. Add to the fact that he is fast, bonus for us fans.

I imagine that if those two ever raced an entire series together that would be one hell of a show.

Outside of that, how great would it be if the final US MX National was combined with the USGP, give a VALID reason for our top riders to race with the GP top riders. Currently you find American racers at the USGP, but it has been a long time since we had top racers there.

Even with his current condition of only being 70% fit or what ever he says, Herlings outdoors all day long vs any lites rider in the US!

When Herlings is at his best, AT200 doesn't get a look in!

Well. I don't think he'll put 30 sec to a minute is he race Martin, Musquin, Webb or Cianciarulo.

Yes I get that. And I kind off agree. My opinion is that I think the top 5 in the 250 and 450 class in the US are faster than top 5 in mx2 and MXGP. Except for Herlings and Cairoli who I think could and would challenge for the title. But I also believe that, let's say the guys who finish 15-20 are faster in the GPs, so I would say the GPs field are deeper. Of course everyone is aloud to have and express their own opinion, but I think there is a little to much "Nationals rules GP are shit" from some US posters. No matter if you prefer nationals or the GPs the difference isn't big at all.

It also kind of get you a little more in the spotlight racing in the US with media etc

The ultimate would be a combined serie. Let's say six races in the US, six in Europe and 3 or 4 in Australia and New Zeeland. That would be so awesome. I guess we could put one in South Africa too

I think its way early to compare the 2.

Webb hits the deck trying to keep up.

I'm with you on that. Canada as well. And mehow2g, I don't know why we do that. Drilled into us perhaps. But I won't compare the 250 class. I'm sure Herlings doesn't want to move to the US to race which is good for the boys over here because I'm not sure anyone here could keep him from getting an outdoor title. But to say the AMA series is the best series isn't saying Americans are the best. It only means the classes are stacked with talent from all over the world. The defending outdoor champion is German. A Frenchman is likely about to win a 250 Supercross title. Guess I should have worded other comments differently. It's not about Americans. Just the American series and the ridiculously deep pool of talent from all over the globe.

On a MX track, I would never bet against Herlings versus any current 250 riders from both sides of the pond. They're some 450 guys that would probably have something for him if they had to move down to the 250 class though...

Jeffrey has already proved himself by lapping almost everyone the AMA has sent over to compete against him.

This is all just a pipe dream as last years crash at Everts day seems to have changed him and IMO only if he has won title is there a slight chance that he will do an rounds of nationals

I don't think he'll do it then either. He was only going to do it last year because there was a big gap in the GP calendar between Lommel and Brazil, I don't think they have a big enough gap this season

Herlings, when he's upto speed again he's the fastest Euro there is

RV has slammed" everyone in the US and no doubt still would,he's the only top guy to cross the pond this way, take him aside and take the next like Dungey,it'd be as tough for him to become MX1 champ as it would AC to become AMA National champ

I'll rephrase for clarity, Every rider riding under a AMA license that has faced Jeffrey in competition.

I think we have all the proof we need in Ken Roczen as to how good the riders from the GP's really can be. Even in supercross.

JH84 is fast as hell that's for sure. Could he beat Web on a SX track, not even. But I bet he could give him a run on a MX track. Also you got Martin and AC both just as fast as Cooper web.
