I bought a Leatt 3DF AirFit Body Protector last summer and really like it. Plenty of protection and low-profile under the jersey. Works seamlessly with a Leatt neck brace.

It looks like it could be very hot to wear. How is it?

Agreed. I purchased one this last summer and love it. The fit is amazing, and I think it looks pretty BA too!

The ventilation is surprisingly good. That said, it's still a bit warmer than my old "traditional" plastic over the jersey protector. 100 degree days are fairly common in Utah and I was still wearing it. Somewhere with high humidity would probably be worse.

My biggest complaint is that it's a bit of a challenge to remove when you're really hot and sweaty. The sleeves take some patience. I like the fact that it has good coverage without being so bulky. Most of the other "body suits" are massive.

Anything is better than nothing. i agree with the need for shoulder protection. I have been running the thor sentinal for years. I love the comfort, and its minimalistic feel and the fact that its plastic. However the shoulder protection is minimal.

I don't ride anymore but when I last did, I had an RXR inflatable that I really liked. It was more comfortable than plastic and protected like an airbag when you hit the ground.

Anyone know how these are compared to the leatt airfit vest? I'm interested in the one without the sleeves.
