I couldn't find it in a search, so here goes. Does anyone know the anodize dye color code for the yellow Suzuki rims? Also, for the forks that the Factory team uses? They look more fluorescent than the rims, but I might be wrong.

Thanks!

Troy Cardiel at TCR Wheels used to do the bright yellow rims for factory Suzuki before the factory started making them in-house. He also possesses the capability to anodize fork tubes bright yellow. He did mine!

I just asked him a few weeks ago when I had him break a wheel down and relace another rim onto it. He had it done an hr or so later.

Others colors yes. But he stop doing yellow because of the consistency and amount of requests he was getting to maintain the correct supplies.

That's too bad. I had Troy match the darker Excel color.

They are great! Just like everything you've read, and that bike is so rowdy it could use all of the speed-sensitive witchcraft it can. I never rode with/without back-to-back, but I've rode Showa 47's and these are a good step up. You'll like them for sure!

Thanks for the compliments! I don't know if I'll ever sell it, but my daughter just starting really getting into riding her PW50 and I can't exactly putt around with her!

Believe it or not. Some great results on some classic/ hot rod builds!

Metalcast anodize yellow

I used their red anodize before, worked great on some pieces on my MX cruiser.

Just as note, the fork tubes Suzuki runs aren't done with a normal anodizing. Something different Kashima is doing for them.

Yep! Thats the look (the Showa one) I am inquiring about. I'm sure the internals are Kashima, but suspect the outside is type 2 anodize. ML512, perhaps whoever does the Kashima is doing the outsides, but just as an anodize? As the outside is purely cosmetic, I can't see them going exotic.

Do you think it's the same color as the rims? If not, do you think it would look good matching the rims?

DJFMX is quite off about Kashima. People are very confused about Kashima, it's a company in Japan not just a coating. They do other colors outside of the bronze we're used to seeing. At my previous work we had them do up some special stuff occasionally. We even had a rep from Kashima that would visit the shop two or three times a year.

As for getting the color for cosmetic purposes, I personally think the forks are a lighter color than the rims in person.

So I emailed Hitoshi. His response was that the bright yellow is anodize. The internals are Kashima coat.
