Changing the team is pretty minor excuse for anything. That happens, riders change teams, Villopoto is not the only one. Some perform the same way right after the change, some don't.
Huge props to Villopoto for giving GP's a go. Makes it a ton more interesting!
I may be wrong but I feel like this is exactly what Villopoto has done his last few years early on in the US. The dude doesn't go balls out early any more and has taken a much more championship approach.
