Has lasts years issues prompted any changes from Youthstream? Do you guys think fuel quality will play a roll in this years race

I posted a thread on this topic and heard crickets. If I remember correctly, some elite riders got hurt due to this garbage.

yes Tommy Searle had a huge crash on the biggest jump on the circuit...his bike cut out on take off due to poor fuel quality. that was the rumour anyway!

I find it hard to believe these teams stop by local pumps to fill up with fuel for the races. Surely they get it shipped in?

If I remember correctly, it was a porting issue. Took months to get cleared and every team got screwed. Hope none of these riders get hurt due to garbage fuel.

Yeah, they couldn't import their typical fuel and were forced to use local supplied race hooch.

Baby bottles, milk jugs, cheap ass, screw top wine jugs? Hell if everyone cheated it'd be a win-win for the riders. How about a care package to every gp rider with a ps, not for human consumption. Wink

Yeah, not sure what they are but the fuel has to meet FIM specifications.

Political unrest resulted in the port issues. Heat was a contributing factor as were mapping issues.
