In the 2nd moto at Tennessee in 2013 Desalle went down in a first turn pile up. He remounted around 37th place but put on a charge and eventually finished...



9th.

There were 29 riders on the gate in Qatar.

Could think that after the last 3 mxdn results you would have been in for a heads up that the competition in mxgp is pretty good?

I thought he would be faster, but i an not suprised to see him doing some misstakes. He just need to get his head straight and calm down and he will run for podium..

Is that true? The lap chart doesn't show him on the first lap, but has Desalle in 18th on the second lap. Did he pass 22 guys on one lap?

RV killed the bike at the starting gate. Then he went down in the first lap. Then he was knocked down after he had worked up to 13th. Then he remounted and worked up to 9th by the end of the race. He did put in a good ride. His lap times were top 5.

There are multiple sports forums I frequent where spoilers are not ever a problem.

If we all pipe up about specifics in the title often enough we can nip the problem in the bud.

Anstie came from dead last to 7th in the MX2 race. Admittedly the MX2 is not as strong as the MXGP, but it shows that it's not impossible to come through. I think RV was riding way too aggressively at the start and that's probably why he went down again. As soon as he calmed down and found his rythym he looked much better.

This is what some have been saying though, if you try and ride too agressively on some of these tracks they will bite you. As RV has discovered a few times this weekend
