I was super excited to see it .... until I heard about that ass hat being a liar.

Did they show the part where he was in New Orleans sniping looters? Completely betraying the Constitution that he swore to defend? Or the part where he punched The Body?

When a person lies in his autobiography it is a turd in a punchbowl for me.

Our country was explicitly founded on certain notions of justice. To betray those notions in favor of retribution is to betray the Constitution itself. A civil servant bypassing due process against an American citizen on American soil without just cause is squarely un-American and directly contradicts the primary duty of an American soldier.

But that is beyond the point.

I've said far more than I should have because this ass hat didn't do that. He didn't betray the Constitution; he didn't usurp our deeply held notions of justice.

No -- he instead used his platform gained by putting on his uniform to lie for his own personal gain. This man used the integrity of the U.S. military to establish an audience. He then shit on that integrity and the audience by being deceitful for his own benefit.

But, uh, AMERICA!!!!!!! Right?

Wouldn't think twice about putting a bullet in a Looters leg.
Thieves are at the bottom of the chain for me, them and pedaphiles.

Good question, I deal with liars all to often.
I would find myself in front of a judge explaining.
"Why did you punch this man?...He lies too much."

would come down to how the lie affected me personally or how much damage was done by the lie.

sende- You should go see the movie..and then you wouldn't post such non-sense. And if you did see the movie and still felt the desire to post this non-sense then you were not intelligent enough to follow along.

Actually I have seen the movie and I thought it was very good. I have nothing but respect for Chris Kyle.
I just posted this only because it was on the subject and I respect Simo Häyhä as well. Nothing more.
I realize that whoever made this pic was intending something else.

Ps. First movie where I didn't find Bradley Cooper to be annoying at all.

Not an experienced military opinion but it sure does seem a lot easier for a sniper to pick off invaders than for an invading sniper to pick off defenders. I liked the movie, took it at face value for what it is. A movie, impossible to contain every detail of every angle and condense it into two hours. I'm a huge Clint Eastwood fan but the best all time war flick in my opinion is still "Apocalyse Now" and always will be.

Did you really just try to claim that they were looting in New Orleans to survive?

My family is in southern Mississippi, where the strongest part of the storm actually hit, and they didn't loot. Im pretty sure people could have survived without stealing TV's and Saints jerseys. I live in Houston and have lived through a few hurricanes myself, and have never needed to loot anything to survive then either.
