Me personally I use my gear bag to store all of my gear, helmets, boots, chest protector, etc.. Do you do the same or prefer a separate helmet bag? Do you put your boots in your gear bag even if they are muddy etc...?

all my gear goes into one bag except for my helmet and boots. I have a helmet bag and Id rather not throw muddy boots into a gear bag

Everything in one bag (including helmet and boots) except chest protector. I live in So-Cal so boots never get muddy Wink but the bag has separate side compartments for the boots anyway.

I use a ogio 9800. It has separate compartments for literally everything . If u don't have one i would sure invest in one. Price is pretty top end but totally worth it. So to answer ur question, yes this things holds my boots, helmet, neck brace, chest protector an all my gear

my Ogio 9800 gets swapped out with all my snowmobile gear during the winter, i need another gear bag if anyone wants to give me one. no fancy colors, it needs the boot pocket, and i'd prefer a secret pocket to keep my fleshlight safe from my stinky socks.

Helmet goes in helmet bag and boots in the back of the truck. Everything else in the gear bag.

I've been running a Fox Honda gearbag since '95. The zipper's been blown out for 15 years and I always put my current helmet box in the bag to help it hold its shape and give my lid a little more protection. Boots go in the end pockets with everything else finding a spot within the main compartment. It's been a great bag with the exception of the zipper.

I put it all in there when I travel. Helmet is in it's bag even though it's in the gear bag. I stash 2-3 pair of goggles & gloves inside the helmet. I put gloves and sox inside my boots. I stuff pants, jerseys & Leatt between the panels of the chest protector and i clip the straps (loose clips can get broken in transit) I also pack a radio and back/water pack and usually a tool-pack (fanny), too. I'll often use 2 bags when traveling international due to weight fees if -1- bag gets too heavy (airline fees).

Most of the Baja rides I go on are for a week or more. I pack a lot.

Note, I also pack all my cloths and usual travel stuff in there, too.

I useTLD gear bags & I beat the hell outta them...well...the airlines do, too.

ive used them in the past and found them to be a bi bulky and clumsy then i tried a gaerne bag and love it. big enough to fit everything and easy to use. think of it as a plastic bin with carry straps but its also easy to fold up and keep out of the way.

wouldnt use it for air travel but for track day its perfect.
