Cairoli is fast, so is Lawrence. If Cairoli comes here it will be interesting to watch. If Lawrence is in good shape Cairoli will have his hands full. If Dungey is still in the 250 class he will smoke him. He has found more speed and is a force to be reckoned with. What do I know, I am just a keyboard cowboy.

Dungey was running with RV toward the end of the year -- he could easily run with Cairoli.

Cairoli is fast no doubt. But to say Dungey can't run with him is funny. Cairoli pissed in his pants when the MX des Nation was here. He went mental. If he moves to the 450s here he's top 10..... maybe. His starting antics are suspect. As was said he will get punted big time if he does that .

I would love to see Cairoli come to the US. Actually think he can run up front and battle with Dungey.

Whats even worse is that he was complaining in that interview about Tommy doing the same thing. Pot, meet Kettle.

Q: You mentioned in the press room in Italy that you felt Tommy (Searle) made it difficult for you in the start, what did you mean by that?

Cairoli: We started together, if he was in front it was okay that he did what he did, but we were level on the straight, and he came to me and touched me and I closed the throttle and didn't get a good start. That was my problem.

At the Des Nations he veered way over trying to get into RV. It was obvious. I have seen many times in the Gp's he does that also. It is blatant when he does it.

There is no doubt he would be a top five, if not top 3 rider (I think top 3) and a title contender -- but to say that Dungey can't run with him is silliness.

Hard to believe considering that he aims his bike straight at whoever he wants to cut off at the start!

If he does that on the start out of the gate like I have seen in the GPs and the MXdN, he will end up on his ass. It is just a cheesy move in my opinion. In the 450s top 10. Poucels , Rattray are faster. I hope he does come over. It make for better racing. I just wish there was more races with the GP guys and the National guys. He is not a threat for the 450 title, no way.

I hope he doesn't go. If he goes he will for sure step up to whatever speed whomever offers. Top three guy here is always top three guy over there. This of course is hard to swallow if you have this idea that "your" series so much better. Smile

Cairoli made his start antic twice against he's title contender like two years ago... You might want to drop it. This just shows how much you know of the GP you just stick to the same story you heard in racerx two years ago.

Cairoli has been the fastest MX2 rider in Europe for the last years. He would probably be running up front in the US as well with Dungey. He's moving to MX1 next year and like RV he is directly a title contender and favorite. IF he moves to the US in 2010 it would be a big loss for the GPs.

You'll get a little taste a Euro riding with Chris Pourcel this year seems to be coming back good.

I think some of you guys don't even know how fast BT really is. Ok he had some bad years. But when he gets in to shape. He will be running with the guys in front in no time. This year he started when he wasn't 100%. And he paid the price. At the start of next years nationals he will be there and he will be competing for the title.

That's horseshit, Dungey can run with Villopoto outdoors. Dungey was hauling ass in the last several Nationals.

I'd love to see AC come over here. This years' nationals should be really good - Mike Alessi, Villopoto, Dungey, Townley and Cairoli should all be real good. AC might be over his head with that crowd, though.

I know ACs ego wouldn't allow it, but he really should come over and run the 250F class for one year. There are plenty of fast guys there, too, like Stroupe and Metcalf. AC would have a good shot at a title, but it wouldn't be easy. In the 450 class, he's going to have a tough time.

Put a chainlink fence in front of them first.

No doubt AC is a very fast guy on a dirtbike. It wouldn't surprise me at all to find him in the top 5 on a consistant basis. His start antics, however, will get him stomped into the ground like a bug. Send him over.

We had that one great season of BT101 and RV51. BT showed he could hang with RV... that's proof enough for me of his speed. I'd love to see a healthy BT this year for the full season and back up to speed. He's a contender in either class.

As far as AC222 coming here, BRING IT! I'd love to see him come. More racers of that caliber = better racing.

If he tries that, we'll have to get Matt Walker out of retirement to line up next to him.

Im not saying Dungey can't run with him, because he can. Im saying if he does come over him and Dungey will have a great battle as in I think they are the same speed.

It would take him some time to get used to things. He seems to get rattled. Pourcel just fit in. AC has speed and can run up front, he just won't come in and dominate like is being said. And the 450s, no way. Look at some of the guys from here that went over and just didn't get used to it. Then look at Osborne. I am not saying AC won't do well, I am saying he gets rattled and that gets in his way. The GP's are fast. So are the Nationals. I don't think our series is heads and shoulders above or below. Neither the GP's.
