I'm assuming that he is not looking to turn it into a joke, but rather to make himself more marketable to legitimate companies. Like Blue Buffalo last year with the Slater Skins, but on his body rather than on the bike. If he can get a money deal from a corporation it's better than getting free gear from a MX clothing line. Smart out of the box thinking.

Bears would be hilarious but I doubt they are interested in making a mockery of it.

Reminds me of Nascar. I read somewhere the sponsors have to pay per race to have the logo on the car.

You wont know if it works until you try. I personally think its a great idea to hopefully attract some outside sponsors with more logo placement. Its hard enough to see sponsors logos on a bike or gear as it its. Good luck Michael I hope it works out.

Side note; the gear, while being plain, looks better than most of the garish and gaudy shit being produced these days.
