I just wish they would start doing something different in the corners so there are more inside/outside options. It seems like most tracks are just big bowl sweeping turns for everybody to get a big run at tripling, quadrupling etc.... into a big section.

I've zoomed in on houston...

So start, 90 degree left, 7 jump rhythm, then to me, left, under bridge (See it says lane one?), right, Single up the stadium, right 180, over bridge, triple, dragon back to off to triple. (cross that lane) 180 right, back up lane one 7 jumps, back onto the start straight, peel off to the right, couple more lanes and then look at the finish jump direction.

Has to be. Good on them! Seems like they started up the ole grey matter this year!

Likewise here, they're doubling up a section...

Start, left wide, straight through rhythm to left, back to start straight and then right, anti clockwise around the stadium... I like it. They must have heard the fans whingeing about the track creativity!

Ok but what will happen when somebody crash on the start or on the first timing section? Get up, start your bike and go against trafic or start you bike make a quick U turn skip a good portion of your first lap?

Cool idea but we are talking about real life racing not mx vs atv.

haha... Maybe it needed to cross 4 lanes before... Or maybe they'll drop it after practice and just reverse the finish jump...

I got an idea. Why not going over to europe to discuss this track problem. Then do nothing for long enough to be sure that when we will take a descision it won't have any consequences because it will be to late anyway.

Sorry to revive this older thread, but I was bored and looking at the tracks on the supercrossonline website and I noticed that they changed the layout of the Houston track (Rd. 14). We were all speculating how they were going to make this work if a rider went down in the first section, well it looks like they will not be doubling back on the first lap anymore. Dont know if anyone has noticed this already.
