From what i understood, you can buy or easily buy a gun at a gun show and get around some of it or get someone to buy it for you. Or take the transaction to the parking lot? I would just like to tighten up on the ways people unlike yourself get weapons. Law abiding people aren't who needs to be regulated. Obviously you know more about the process than i do.

Yep...and I have paid more for some guns that I have bought from 'gun shows'...unregistered guns are also kept in a different safe! Smile

So, it ends up being a law enforcement problem? Maybe all voters should push their local law enforcement to stop worrying about whether i'm going 3 mph over in a 25 zone and do something to make our area safer. Naw, that would never work.

True that, It's kinda like my rant on the southern border. It's all tied in together is this fabric we call 'Merica. I live in the country and don't go to places that will harm me, so I look as cops as tax collectors.

Some of the gun show loop holes have been plugged so you still need a back ground check depending on the state.Buying a gun for someone to avoid a back ground check is a felony and if the person that you did the" transaction in the parking lot " with commits a crime the gun will be traced by the FFL transfer and you will go to prison also.

I want to buy an AR. Military, but i don't keep up on the rules. I'm 100 percent for us having guns. AKA i wasn't aware that those laws had been plugged.

AKA, Newmann basically dumbed my conversation down to common sense. Common sense that we are already aware of, but, it's still the bottom line in America. We would like to not have Mentally retarded (gangsters) people among us yet we do. We give them the same rights that we afford ourselves. We pay that price to have the same rights afforded ourselves. That is how we are taught and raised. I can't imagine a life with out being able to rise up with my peers against a government that turned against us. That is our guarantee. That is why, being fairly liberal,I will never argue this or any of our rights.

I brought up the abortion thing as an example of democratic Libral ways of thinking and doing things to counteract the op's rant against consevatives and republicans. He Gave his examples, and I gave mine.
And what gives me the rite to control others lives... Exactly...especially the innocent life of the unborn. And its not control, its murder.

In regards to the OP; until the criminals turn in their guns, I'm going to keep mine. Even then, I'm still going to keep mine. One of the benefits of living where I live. I can own guns if I want, or not. I choose the former. Strict gun control laws don't cut crime, it only benefits the criminals. Why handicap the good guys?

Just build one from scratch using all the good parts you prefer. The gun rush of 2013 is over and prices are the lowest they've been in years. Keep an eye on this thread as it updates daily with bargains.
