Hello all, I just bought a 1986 CR250, the cylinder was sleeved, then bored over from prevous owners. There is ton of slap in the piston, too much for me to feel comfortable with. I would like to put everything back to stock, I am told that I can still get a new cylinder + top end for a 1989 and not much is avail for 1986. So my questions is can a 1989 jug, head, powervalves ect fit on to the 1986? Can anyone offer some advice for this situation?
I raced this bike the past weekend in a vintage moto and fell in love with it, in fact my lap times where only a 5 seconds slower on this than my 08 450! I felt I could out corner most of guys out there, this is an awsome bike! Go Honda!!
thanks for the help,
stoop

Then while racing it, be on the look out for a stock Cylinder.
Also to clairify the parts guy thought I was talking about a 99CR250, the cylinder for the 1989 is no longer avail from honda.
thanks again for the help
