This case seems legit, but there are many other's that aren't and they are right in front of our eyes. The most obvious case is the officer that asked the guy to get his license and when he reached in his car to get it he just started shooting. Even when the guy backed out of the car with his hands up the cop KEPT shooting. That kind of stuff is what people are upset about.

We geta lot more attention to the bad behavior now with instant interweb access. With all the police that do their job well or even adequate, what percentage do you think are bad?
And given some neighborhoods, does the job influence some of them to be bad, or bring out the bad. I know some people are by nature just assh#%×*.

Good question, why would he be paranoid about a guy that is following his instructions...................

Kind of like that guy in Jacksonville that shot at the kids because he "thought" that they pointed a gun at him. He just got convicted of first degree murder.

I completely understand cops being cautious, but what we are seeing now is cops doing things that indicate that they feel they are above the law. That is a real problem.

It's hard to say how many are bad, but honestly if there are good cops that know that there are bad cops they should be able to speak up without feeling like they are going to be a target for other cops.

I don't think that the neighborhood brings out the bad in certain cops, but I do believe that it just gives them more opportunity to get away with being bad because that neighborhood may not have a loud enough "voice".

Seems like the cops are making a lot of mistakes lately. At some point you have to realize that they aren't mistakes.

The cop is trigger happy because he is mentally off his rockers. All police should have to have mental evaluations before becoming police. Too many are much too happy to "police" others with a gun in their hand.

While my wife was going to nursing school she was working as a Pharm tech in Pasadena Texas that was on Spencer Ave and she was amazed at the amount of Police officers that took Adderall-they would get their prescriptions filled while in uniform no less. Makes you wonder if a lot of these guys are just hyper "focused".

The current goal of the protestors is to shut down as many wal marts as possible because a black guy got shot while he was shopping in a wal mart. Someone had called the cops and said he had a gun but really he was just shopping. Didn't remember if we talked about that story. Nothing to do with actual Wal Mart. Not sure what their goal is there.

I heard they "shut down" at least three wal marts and are getting closer to where I live. I'm hoping for a harsh winter to end all this.

They had big signs at the Monday night football game too. I heard there were 48 arrests yesterday.

If someone is shooting at me, it's a life or death situation at that point. Him or me. There's no such thing as too many shots.

It sucks for police officers because most of them are good. Nobody goes and posts a video though of the 99% of officers doing their job the correct and respectful way. That less than 1% that are bad though will get a video post and publicized every single time it happens.
