She's pushing up daisies in the outskirts of Vegas. Wink

they have to handle it right.

Yes it does suck for him, since the right way to handle it was not followed.

Now he shoulders all the responsibility for the unprofessional handling of this process from the first day.
Were all of his handlers, hanger ons, man friends and sponsors all standing around jerkin their gherkins while all of this transpired? No one looking out for James or their jobs so he could concentrate on training and practicing?

What I think may be a better question might be - Why did the people handling the testing process let it play out incorrectly?

Everyone knew the detail prior to James, and the internet was running wild.

That's just wrong, and ultimately ends up on his shoulders no matter who, or how many people are helping in the Stewart camp.

Bottom line, no one here knows all the facts. We all speculate most of what we think we know, and that's a dangerous situation when someone's career hangs in the balance.

What makes you think that everybody knew before James? Pretty sure he was the first to know.

More foolish assumptions on my part.

Appeared to be the worst kept secret in the sport for a while.

Strange how when others were tested later, there wasn't a word said about any detail until the rider"s" involved made something known.

More rampant speculation from my mind probably..

I just spent 15 minutes reading this thread and all I learned was some trivia about a golfer doing drugs

I took from this thread that James Stewart is facing a 2 year ban from competition. I already knew about the golfer doing drugs.

That's because they passed and the reason they posted their letters was because so many people were speculating about those test results....

If I understand our back and forth, your saying the process with Jame's sample testing and notification was done by the book and the right way.

Is that correct?

Nope, I have no idea about "by the book" but I can assure you that James was notified way before anyone else.

2 years seems extremely, extremely harsh since I recall, I believe, someone in the NFL getting a 4 game suspension for Adderall. Anyone know of what the NFL did, by chance? I'm a bit unclear on how long their punishment was.

You'd have to ask her.

However, I would have played doctor with a young Daryll Hannah whenever the mood struck her! Woohoo

Notice the word "young" in my post.

Muppet Daryll? Not so much... make that not at all.

Yes it does suck for him, since the right way to handle it was not followed.

Now he shoulders all the responsibility for the unprofessional handling of this process from the first day.
Eh?

What was unprofessional about it?

He had a drug test, he failed it.

It's not like testing in SX is or was new. He failed to obey the rules.
