This is all bullish!t. I'm a huge JS7 fan but I'm really tired of this crap. Ride or you're fired! Go to the hospital or get back on. Hospital or on. Period. He's such a great talent is why he pisses me off. PR nightmare most of the time. Won't cut his F'n hair. Does dumb stuff. Quits if its not going right. I kinda hope he just retires and stops the shenanigans once and for all. I can't count how many fantasy pics I've wasted on him in the last 3 years. Just quit or somebody fire him. FIM suspend him for a couple years for not following basic rules by filing a TUE. Somebody do something because I can't watch anymore.... too painful watching it go to waste.

*....and somebody in his camp please tell him it's "one lined" NOT "one lined-ed" when a track is hard to pass on!

-End rant....I feel a little better now...a little
Ah. You're mad because of a fantasy pick? Wow.

Yes.

But the 8 years I spent in the military I didn't. It's a go to the hospital or go to work system. I wasn't making millions either. That work ethic has carried over into my current career. I don't take sick leave now (unless I'm in the hospital). I'm at work with a broken leg as I type this (moto related). It's a b!tch crutching all the way to my desk but I'm of most value here. I could work from home easily but I choose to get up, suit up, and show up. I owe everything to my career and I damn sure don't wanna F it up. I appreciate all the luxury's I've worked for, and again I don't make millions....

If it wasn't for that work ethic I would not have my home. my family, my moto, or the ability to sit here in this meeting i'm dialed in to and chat with you guys on Vital as I work. Life is good and if you appreciate it you deal. End of story.

It's not just James, it's the majority of these rich athletes that don't appreciate making more that the President of the United States. But what should we expect when we spoon feed teens and give them all this power because they are talented in an area that is entertaining.
You are badass enough to head in to work with a broken leg but you are replying of Vital while in a meeting. Are you sure you couldn't have worked from home? Haha. Making it in to work is commendable but there is that saying work smart not hard.

I don't employ any of these guys so I don't care what they do or how certain public perceives them. They have paid their dues one way or another (including James).

Obviously some people have never read "The boy who cried 'wolf!'"...

James may well have a legitimate medical issue going on; the problem is that the repeated past behaviour (like newmann mentioned) casts doubt over his words and actions.

Personally, my speculation is that the cumulative long term effect of his many concussions is being underplayed here and that may be a bigger issue than the ADHD/Adderal thing.

You sound like me, planned getting my clavicle screwed back together (the second time) on a Friday afternoon so I could be back to work Monday morning.

That previously started six weeks earlier when I went under the knife to have it screwed back together along with an ACL replacement and some other clean up mods in my knee. Both on the right side so I couldn't use crutches. Had a broken big toe on the right foot and a slab of bruised ribs to go along with it. Had to wait a week for the swelling to go down in the knee for them to operate on it. Instead of having the shoulder done then, I toughed it out through the week at work with the bones scraping around and my leg in a brace with my toes taped up and my ribs wrapped. In the hospital, somewhere between the shoulder and knee repair at the same time and getting moved from the operating table to the hospital bed they must have separated the clavicle repair. Needless to say , even though it looked crooked, they refused to look into it further until my six weeks checkup. Surgery was Tuesday, out of the hospital on Thursday and back to work Monday. No work, no pay, no one else to do my job at the little shop I worked at was all the motivation I needed. Physical therapy during my lunch hour and in the mornings before work and in the evenings at home.

Funny stuff at therapy one day when a refinery worker asked me when I was going back to work. He had a ACL replacement about the same time I did. He looked dumbfounded when I told him I was back to work in less than a week. He had blown his knee playing softball and wasn't planning to go back to work for six months! All I could think was "must be nice"! Laughing

I broke my ankle, with surgery, a cast and back standing at my butcher block inside a week. I sprang free from that cast 6 weeks later and fractured it again that following Saturday night racing. I was back on the block in another cast that Monday morning.

I showed my employer moto heads may not be the sharpest tool in the shed but we don't shy away from work either. Truth be told it was those race expenses I needed to stay on top of.

The press should have been in town today and I haven't heard anything concrete about the situation. What's the good word GuyB? Figured there would at least be a more descriptive PR by now.....

YOSHIMURA SUZUKI’S JAMES STEWART TO MISS WASHOUGAL NATIONAL
Stewart optimistic about returning for Unadilla
CHINO, CA (July 24, 2014) – Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Racing’s James Stewart will sit out round nine of the 2014 AMA Pro Motocross Championships, to be held at the Washougal MX Park in Washougal, WA, this Saturday. Stewart and the Yoshimura Suzuki team made the decision to opt out of the Washougal National after the championship-winning rider was unable to race the second moto at last weekend’s Spring Creek National in Millville, MN. Both Stewart and the Yoshimura Suzuki team regret missing the upcoming round but agreed that maximum recovery time was the priority.

"It's been a tough few weeks," said Yoshimura Suzuki Team Manager Mike Webb. "Since James' sweep at High Point we've been dealt a good bit of bad luck. Add to that his retirement from the second moto last week for health reasons, we feel it's best to sit out Washougal. That will give us an extra weekend to rest up and get ready to come back strong at Unadilla."

Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Racing’s next race will be round 10 of the 2014 AMA Pro Motocross Championships on Saturday, August 9th, at the Unadilla National in New Berlin, NY.
