You guys are all such a good group! I really am blown away at the support you've all shown so far, maybe one day I'll be lucky enough to meet this man! With that said, thank you for putting your trust in Peersponsor.org to help in your fund raising efforts. It's been a challenge to gain people's trust, especially as a startup, but I hope we have begun to earn it so far. Keep in mind, the campaign will run for the entire 30 days, so it seems very likely that we will meet and exceed the $1000 goal for Burrito, that would be awesome! Also, we would like to welcome any constructive criticism regarding our site, your checkout process, etc. We have been working on this project for over six months, and we may miss things that outsiders spot right away. Lastly, for any of you on social media, we have made efforts to help promote Burrito's campaign, so if you spot those posts make sure to share/repost/retweet or whatever to help spread the word about this campaign. Thanks again.

Cheers,
momentum

David has gone through a lot and is learning to walk again. He could really use some help in getting a hospital bed in his home to continue his recovery. Will provide information later on where to contribute for those who want to but want to send this flare up to see how many of you remember burrito from the Motonews days....think he also made a view appearances here.

Full on hard core MX guy and does a lot of good things for those in need especially animals. I want to send some help in his direction as he's due and could really use the help.
Thanks for setting this up!

Cool thread dudes lets get this guy set up! I don't do much of this but the passion in your post's got me off the fence for a rider I will never meet, I may only have a hundred dollars or so to donate but I hope it helps.Hey "500 guy" saw your post and to me Carlos Serrano was always 'CHICO according to his butt patch, he was cool as fuck and fast as fuck riding a Maico, that patch on his ass was the only time I saw him in a race dodging his roost. Boo however had Hannah speed and is still three blocks away with the same phone number since jr. high school...my guy, no disrespect that was a time when super seer goggles had these major $5000 pro purse races around and you just wanted a sniff at the cash only to see the Lake Whitney boys, Chico from AZ, The Rhoten brothers from Kansas, Ray Fastle from NM and the rest at sign and go find your wheaties fast.

Don't know Burrito but he always seemed to be a really good dude back in the Motonews days.
I had a good friend die last week in a car crash that wasn't her fault and her son suffered major injuries that he will recover from. The kid's girlfriend also died.
Shit like this is a stern reminder that a person's well-being is SO much more important that material things..... including moto.
I'll be praying that Butrito makes a full recovery and the new bed brings him comfort.

Oh man, what a shame. "Burrito" is a good dude, and he's helped a lot of people around here, in moto as well as other things it seems. I definitely want to add to the pot here to keep this thing going.

Thanks Rock for doing this.

Great to see what goes around comes around is really true. Burrito has helped so many people and excellent to see the Vital MX community stepping up to help him at this time.

Big tip of the visor to everyone for killing the goal of 1K in about a day. .Will keep everyone posted on the bed acquisition and THANK YOU again!

Thanks Jim and thank you everyone. Burrito and I spoke today and I got him dialed into the WePay system to expedite the funds delivery. He got back to me to let me know he is getting 421.75 in two to five days and the balance within seven days. Burrito keeps saying how blown away he is by our support.

He's is looking at beds now and a friend of mine that is in the industry e mailed me after reading this thread to let Burrito know to check Craigslist before buying from Amazon. Excellent suggestion and I shared that with him. Thank you John! Apparently they come up frequently due to elder care issues resolving and then the families are left with these beds.

Hey everyone Burrito ere . I wanted to thank everyone who has donated . The past 2 years have been rough and since my foot issue it's been a real challenge . I never thought I would have to learn to walk again but with God's help I am . My mind is still blown over the amount of support I have received from my Moto family . Moto is my life and will continue to be . I have to give a big shout out to my brother Rock for getting this started . I was moved to tears when I found out about it . In a time where money is tight I want to thank all of you for giving . As soon as the bed arrives I will take a photo of it and post it .

God Bless you all and thank you

Sorry if I missed it but what area does he live in? I actually have a hospital bed with gel mattress and sheets that I can let him use if he's close to So. Cal. Works great.

Rock, been off line for a few days on this matter, I still want to help the burrito. If there is an account to send a check to post it, or send me a note. Got back from milleville and my truck ate some money just fixed it...just like the barber shop NEXT, I got her done and she is now loaded with my shit for a three day raft trip in the rockies before vacation is over. Don't know you dudes but know what its like to bite the dirt and appreciate the help. 2013 was a write off for me, Complete hip/labram reconstruction, and both wrists. My wife is cranky and I am on the gas....situation normal. BRAAAAHP
