Wheelie Tutorial

It seems like every other day there is a comment or a new thread started asking about wheelies; how to do them, where to practice, can everyone really do them? So I took it upon myself to dredge the internet to try and find a tutorial for you guys and I finally came across something worth while. I think this video will help a lot of people on Vital that are struggling to get their front wheel off the ground.

This video is very insightful. The guy breaks it down step-by-step. Most importantly he does it in a very safe and controlled environment. PLEASE GUYS, if you're trying this find a nice large piece of grass like is recommended in the video. Also, MAKE SURE you're wearing protective equipment!! I cannot emphasize this enough.


And finally, just hang in there guys. It takes patience. If you work hard enough you're eventually going to be able to ride a wheelie -- trust me!!!

Um, I tried, I really did, but, uumm, I tried to watch the, umm, the video, but, ummm, the guy just really, ummm, well, he really talks, umm, like he talks, ummmm.....well he says ummmm a lot. Like, A LOT.

I messed up too many sub-frames and fenders, not to mention my tail bone, too many times to bother anymore. Wheelies on a dirt bike are harder than many people realize. Even top level racers don't have solid wheelies skills. It really is an art. Or like the 12oClock boys say, a life style. Laughing Cool
